finally! the conditions were good, i'm finally over that flu, i had no excuses left! Scott belayed me so i was feeling good! Adam says..'you wont get it first time so i wont get the camera out..." famous last words!!!

First attempt, two hard sections to work out.

first time leading it. first time i felt like i could climb since that dreaded flu wiped out frog season! how rude..

one rest at end of hard section. in the sun, end of day, while exhausted!!!! woohoo!!

No one expected this, least of all me. Third shot! Absolutely stoked! [1/3]

first try for the year. tried to tape tips but you really need them untaped. all i can say is..ouch! can do most moves, the crux with a lot of rope assist. this could be possible...(?) but may take awhile...

I found the initial crack hard enough and ran out of juice on the top!

First shot was desperate and ridden with falls, 'take-up!'s and 's**t's. 2nd shot felt way better. Smallest crimps I've ever been on on-rope, and some beautiful sequences after the first crux. Pulled me hammy in a karate-kick-heelhook move.

Decided to hop straight on lead. 3/4 fall on first attempt. 2 falls on the next. Hamstring is feeling okay, but had to switch the heel to a toe, making the move a tad harder. Such fun movement!

Tried for the ground-up redpoint, but lost concentration at the technical crux. 1 fall there.

Cool! Was in a weirdly engaged-but-calm headspace this time; even though each move didn't feel secure and perfect I kept to the beta and did each move without much extraneous thought. Using imagery in the days between attempts helped heaps with this; Also, warming up on the Cliffboard. Learnt a lot on headgame, face-climbing, and projecting. (For reference as this isn't on theCrag yet: onsighted Time for Chai (26) same day, over an hr haha. Hardest send and onsight today!)

Did it because Kyle wanted a beta. Worked the moves and pull the rope on some but cannot linked them. Definitely possible if you train for it. Cool corner up an epic face.

I expected to dog this today after giving it up for the year.. but i was talked back into it! So I did all the things you are not supposed to do the day before, like eat (a lot of) cheesecake and hot chips and get no sleep and climb 3 days in a row. So now I can't use all those excuses because I did it! (with only a couple of wails and 'watch me here!')The next thing I knew I was past the crux thinking, wow, now I have to finish this! So I did! With Russ (belay extraordinaire), Ad and Duncan.

now i have the beta! nearly there...can now do all the moves..just have to have the endurance to do it all in one hit.

always lead this from the ground up everyone needs to do it this way. Done it 6 times

the season for frog is over for the year! its way too hot! came off at the traverse! what the???? managed to get to the top but the conditions were so unpleasant that ive decided to leave it til next year.

finally got it clean. best attempt ever. 1st and 2nd shot with one fall at the pop out trying to lift my foot. 3rd and 4th shot clean and in the sun...27 degrees today. now i have to lead it......rp's????!!!

Worked out a doable sequence to the sharp crimp before running out of skin and strength. Moving back into the crack and up looks nails. Awesome climb.
