So interesting the whole way.. lying on slabs, pulling around roof, exposed corners, hanging belays and beautiful views. Pitch 4 was money! Got stitched up a couple of times removing gear haha

Got a bit confused by the painted D a climbed the first pitch it thinking it was Debutante and got lost traversing to the big corner... had to downclimb and walk to the proper start

Really fun sustained route, rock quality wasn't ideal but much better than Debutante. P3 had hard moves with ledge falls for the leader, big hex or two might help. Otherwise very well protected, double small totems really soothed the nerves. Micro nuts handy for anchors

3rd pitch is a Mega classic for sure. Definitely bail at the bolts after that. Went all the way and it’s not a fun time at all really.

Really awesome! Got slightly lost on pitch 2 going for the super thin sickle crack instead of staying right which made things interesting and harder then it probably needed to be. Thought I was lost but got right back on track. Pitch 3 crux was just AWESOME and pitch 4 seemed pretty intense for a 17!

Rock is much nicer than advertised! Climbing is pretty straightforward and basic. Nothing too crazy. Fun!

Awesome onsight flash. Too pumped to clip piton. Took a deep breath and climbed past it with cam in mouth ready to drive it home before belay. Belayed from ledge then recovered for 20minutes before proceeding. Actual ascent March 2002.

Unreal crack climbing, made easier by some great jugs. The start chimney has a bit of dodgy rock but once your out of that the climbing and rock is amazing.

,y first "mega-classic" rating!! from the ground the line doesn't look so awesome but believe me it is. diff rock types and style as the climb progresses but there are a few thin and delicate corners. gear at first belay is crap but don't do what i did and run it out to a semi-hanging belay stance halfway up next pitch frying in the sun. last pitch is apparently the hardest but i found it the easiest...more steep juggy flakes for me please! just awesome climbing all the way. ledge of last belay point is a fantastic picnic spot!! are there ny crap climbs at rosea? i don't think so.

Led this with Pete who was on the FA. I loved every minute of this, leading pitches 1 and 3/4. P1 is thin, the classic pitch tho is the pitch where you traverse the mega crack, mantle, then blast up this overhanging v-corner seemingly hanging way out over lake bellfield. You sort of have this feeling that you're so far up there's no chance of you hitting anything if you fall, so you just relax, enjoy the outragoeus position, and climb! i REALLY enjoyed this climb!!

Best multi pitch Trad route I've ever done. The start of pitch 2 a little dirty, needs more people climbing it. Pitch 3 and 4 are the standout pitches with 2 not far behind. Crazy so many people are at Arapiles when this place is not far awa .

Really offers an awful lot of variety. The two closed, fused corners (on pitches 2 & 3) test the brain, and the overhung corner crack on perfect rock on pitch 4 is as good as it gets. Was smiling to myself as hold after perfect hold appeared before me ... it just kept going ! Pitch lengths both here and Sublime Climbs are rubbish though. I combined pitches 1 & 2, which was about 40m total, and 3 & 4, which was about 58m - so I am guessing they are more like 22m, 18m, 18m, 40m. You could probably combine pitches 1, 2 & 3 with a 60m rope (bit of stretch) and easily with a 70m rope but you might run out of gear (like I did). Party of three, 4.5 hours bottom to top and back again.

Everything you could want in 4 pitches of fun. Make sure you bring some tea and scones for the belay ledge at the end of P3. Possibly a good bivy spot as well if you want to make it a bigwall adventure.

Lead pitch 2. Not sure if I was on route on pitch 2. I ended up doing a roof traverse ~20m in and built a hanging belay immediately after. It's probably easier than 19 this way, especially compared with the bold crux on the first pitch.

We ended up here after taking the dreaded hairpin turn right on the way to the giant's staircase. Ultimately lost, and when we worked out where we were, decided we may as well climb. Great route with some very nice technical moves. Our 60m rope was juuuuust ok to rap with ending up at a ledge we could scramble down a few metres from.

This is a great climb that challenges you on every pitch. Offset nuts would have been handy. Couldn't place gear quite as frequently as I would like. The gear is ok but would not recommend it to someone that is pushing this grade. Got to the stance at 33m on the first pitch and couldn't see any gear placements so retreated to belay just above the overhang.

Didn't have a guidebook so ended up on quite the adventure and we made a few bad calls on pitch lengths. In hindsight it looks like we missed the best pitch by tracking left at the end. Day started with us roasting in the sun, then freezing when the sun passed overhead. Loved the first pitch before rope drag had me deadlifting on the slab corner - never tried so hard!

So good!! Combined 2/3 to do it in 3 pitches total, but went off route on end of pitch 3 (2nd pitch for us), going too far right, so probably made that section a bit scarier than necessary.
