Ascents in Flat Rock having Beta

Nice problem, pretty soft for V7 but I’ll take it!

All moves sorted. It's a cool problem!

Got it in two overlapping halves, will hopefully go when fresh.

Repeated with dialled beta to redeem my trash original ascent

Great. Cool moves on solid rock with a good view.

Good climb, fun sequence of foot jams/moves from start - pleased I didn't miss the last big move (which I fell on with both the V3 and V5). Not sure it felt very V7'y, fell once because I put foot badly and rock stabbed into my ankle, once because I tried questionable beta to move the feet from the start, and sent on maybe third or forth try. I suppose by comparison to Epsilon Crack it feels about V4.. but compared to Encore and Curtain Call then maybe a V7

Went with Donna's beta, MVP! Crystal pierced my finger. Wicked climb.

Don't wanna use fat fingers as an excuse... but dayum this thing is absolute nails.

Bit soft, good beta goes a long way.

Given 4 originally but easy 5 seems about right. You really cant have pads under you for this!

Close to flash, was at the end of the day and I ended up taking like 10 attempts and I thought I'd run out of juice but managed in the end. Thanks for the beta Josh Ellis

tight core for the crux, not too bad

feels soft compared to some of the other V7s I tried this trip, but absolutely love the moves coming through the roof

did this before the logged first ascent but suspect it had already been done in the past and not logged. slightly contrived but still not a terrible line.

Semi technical. Not too difficult.

Gave it a few 'rest day' burns. Tore open the back of 5 fingers, but came pretty close even with my chunky boys. May come back for it one day if I'm having a thin finger day.

This climb isn’t just for 5”1’ females! It’s great fun, and I’m 6”3’ and found a completely different sequence involving a cheeky guidebook under a kneepad

Finally! Felt alright today, but this one’s taken me Awhile.

going to left crimp first makes the right hand reach more static for me. hard part is getting left hand over the lip without swinging out (need a place for the right foot?)

Short person possible! Managed to work this boulder over two sessions. Probably on the softer end. Very fun route with some burly moves.

Loved working this one, so much beta! Surely not V7 but still the hardest boulder I've done. V6?

Had almost the perfect beta from David Barrie and just fought a little bit at the end to improvise where his beta didn't suit me!

Softest 7 going around especially if you are long.
