Ascents in Pimple Buttress having Beta

Good little warmup...although did it at the end of this session.

Tricky little bugger.

It is embarrassing but I fell on this route and hit the boulder that is near the wall fracturing my coccyx. Watch the second clip and the bolt plate on the first is loose making stick clipping hard.

Nice climb with good holds, didn't notice the high first bolt.

Steep but juggy. Not long enough to be pumpy.

Hard start, then seemed more sustained. Lead it next time. Seems to be much harder then "It's for You" (18 also)

Seriously, I walked down this with no hands and the dog ran up it. Needs to disappear.

Another questionable route

I have this ticked as a solo, but I think that was Plum Duff. This is almost a retrobolt of Pimple and of similar difficulty

Really enjoyed this one. Would give it two stars even. Good jugs but pumpy over hang. Once you’ve found the jugs it’s not so bad. Varied climbing. Nice arret.

Felt harder than some of the other climbs on the wall with higher grades to me.

Nice climb led by Ali. Good boulder moves at the start turning into a slab for a bit. Two stars.

Felt easy for the grade compared to ladder of gloom and other high teen climbs in the area. I guess it was reaching and being taller (183) helps.

Short and sweet. I’d give it a 16. It’s got good holds on it (if you know where to look). The grade suggests it should be easy but it is a sustained overhang that a beginner will struggle with.

Nearly fell off. A small alien might be handy if you try to straight up like I did and not skulk of right.
