Ascents in Kangaroo Point as Pink point

Great linking line. BARFJ crux is much harder after already crimping your way up Bufo Marinus.

Hopped on the send train with Dave to round off a nice morning at KP! A great link-up with classy climbing, interesting traverse moves, cruxes after cruxes - well worth doing. Warmed up by climbing Cucumber through to Honed and Buffed.

A dream from 1999 realized!

I liked this climb. Good for your core strength. Went from not being able to pull any of the moves to tickage in a couple of sessions.

Wasn't expecting to tick this today, happy I did though. One of the best climbs at KP.

Grade 25 now - a big hold has appeared. So sad.

Didn't expect to re-send this second shot today. Took ages to suss out the moves again, but it went super smooth. Afterwards, Ash helped me figure out a perfect static way to do the lower crux.

Stocked. somehow got the crux and kept it together for the send.

Stoked to have sent this thing first go tonight, after working it one day last week. Flowed very nicely, though I still think the moves between the two alleged cruxes are the hardest on the climb.

!!! Loved it !!! first at the grade . Anxiety at the top almost spat me off kept it together figured it out again whilst on the send to land that sandy top jug! Smiles for days!

Got it! After watching Oscar do it, it forced my mind into that sending mode. So happy we got this. Sending a 26 in under 2 years of climbing!

Rapped in to hang the draws, and just as I got to the base it started to rain. Thought there was no way I’d be able to climb this thing tonight, but got a lucky break in the weather. Climbed smoothly past the crux first go, but blew my feet. Second go was some of the most perfectly executed climbing I’ve ever done. I love the delicate clip under the roof and the hero jug haul to the top!

Holy moly it went! And we didn't even plan on doing it this morning, but the conditions were perfect. Teresa set the mood with a beautiful red point. So proud of her.

Short and thin slab boulder, hard to work out. Holds that seam important just aren’t. Great puzzle 🧩

big kp milestone today. 4 session. i figured out the top slab this morning and sent the next go. the no hands rests are massive, it really splits the climb into 3 parts. i'll try a bit more direct at the end next time to see if i can do the last bit with a bit of pump. i reckon its not too bad though so it wouldnt change the grade. fingerlock is painful so i recommend tape on the left pinky. my favourite part is the slab at the bottom and the top. the moves in the middle are a bit too awkward and painful for me to be much of a fan. i reckon ill traverse to cucumber and do the crux there which is way more fun and then traverse back onto barfj.

Flash pump at the bulge - couldn't move hahaha. Remembered where the feet go second time round. No breeze but made up for it with copious amounts of chalk

Extremely fun (and painful)! Maybe a tad soft for the grade once you find out where all the rests on the slab are.

I think we used the wrong sequence because it was nowhere near 25. Either way it is short and contrived
