Ascents in Kaputar as Tick

Best of the routes i've done at kaputar

Very happy to get to the top of this Kaputar classic. Will aim for a clean ascent next time.

Good fun, and a great location, but was more strenuous than I remember.

Ruined my perfect streak on this route dammit. Popped a foot and whipped. Clean after that

Good moves, but a grounder at the crux without a bolt.

Rpt. May feel more 21 side of 20

Nice climb but running on empty so dogged it to finish after spitting off.

Top roped to the last bolt then lead the last little bit to the anchors

Bec lead this in good style to the top bolt, so I was on top rope for all bar the last couple of meters to the anchors.

Made it about 2m short of the top

I feel like I needed the anchors lower, after the grade 26 bit......

Another 2 goes. Tempted to put a maillon on bolt at 15m At 25, and leave the rest as extension. Holding most positions but downward facing slopers make it hard to move upwards.

Best effort to date. Did all clean except 2m in the middle that still requires a solution

3 separate days, maybe 5 attempts. All but half a move done, and clean again to top of pedestal. Linking it all together is another thing.

Another 2 goes. Did second crux twice, which is the low probability move for me. On second go was through the third crux on lead when an edge crumbled and I came off, though the 4 th crux will be the heartbreaker I reckon. Hope the cool conditions continue.

Very enjoyable climbing.

Enjoyed this climb, stuffed the final move up. will clean this up next trip.(Im inspired by the look of pitch 2!!!)

Didn't make the same mistake this time. Easy. Now for pitch 2....lol

really nice mixed line, plenty of protection.
