Came back two weeks later to send it — knowing the move out of the roof and how to protect it gave me all the confidence to do it, and it actually felt really easy. A climb that really is all about having the guts to move over the roof!

Absolutely awesome!! The move over the lip is very cool, but it took me a few tries to get it. But the coolest thing of it all is that I took some big falls on a #2 cam that I placed myself, my first falls on gear. And I survived, yay! Will get this clean next time!!

What a great climb! As the description suggests, very easy to think you are on Gold Buttress Direct if you are looking at the old book. A bit intimidating to get to the first bolt, and a #0.5 cam between the first and second bolt is the difference between climbing it safe or risking a ground fall. The move to get the fourth (or was it fifth?) bolt is really cool. Pumpy at the end, but what a rewarding finish!

Probably the scariest trad lead i've ever done. Really satisfying though. Great climbing up the arête/face. Lots of high steps and slopey crimps. Be really confident at the grade and happy with a run out!

Got to the first ledge and couldn't find any gear. Decided to down climb and lead up the decent gully to retrieve my gear. On the top rope I found some gear to the right of the ledge on thunder thighs.
