Ascents in Mount Brown as Red point

Absolutely worth it, super fun climbing in an amazing location!!! We skipped pitch one. But complete the rest, which were super interesting and engaging. Was super determined for the clean tick so repeated a pitch 😤😎🤙

Rad day out!

The climbing was a touch dirty in places but that's expected as this is an epic place.

The 26 pitch was great, the boulder problem in the corner felt hard but I'm a bit out of shape. Solved with granite squirm style! A knee pad would change things.

There where a couple of spots where clipping was difficult, pre equip for sure.

The desperate and scary mantle got easier as I pulled a minger off leaving a positive slot.

Crimpy first half. Shouldery funky second half. Used a couple of knee bars in the roof. Grade 29 I think.

Boulder around the roof is pretty cool & unique, but the rest is quite sharp and awkward.

2nd attempt putting the draws on.... the first was a couple months ago and couldn’t remember anything.

Rad route. Took a few goes due to greasy conditions today.

Better and harder than Expendable Youth not all that sustained.

I thought I was trying a 28 but it would make sense at 27 on a better conditions day. I also never found your kneebar Claudio!

Two beta laps in total and then sent I didn't feel pumped at all until the moment I had to clip the anchor 😅

Condis were not cash money but I was on a mission to get it done. I found the run outs annoying when questing up for the first time and would recommend a few mid size cams. Great climbing 👌

Retroflash - had 2 burns a 2 years ago. Went down pretty easily first shot today. Definitely a hint of holiday grades.

Used a .3 & .75 camalot

No hard moves for the grade, but much more sustained than most routes on the wall. Top quality climbing.

Can I tick a flashpoint? Flashed into a route that i already flashed,they share the same crux so definitely helped. Felt soft for a 6 also

First of the grade! Nice and sustained the whole way. No super hard moves but tricky finale for sure (4) Long and beautiful!

Broke off a hold just above the second bolt. I don't think it changes the sequence much.

Used a #1 camalot at the top. Easier for the vertically gifted.

Even the less good routes here are pretty damn good!

Came together well. Sequency and powerful through the roof.

First go today, putting on the gear. Only just made it through the traverse at the top.

Felt really solid 2nd shot. Would be bloody hard without chalk on the holds.

Fell off at the rooflet on the onsight attempt - solid crux move! I did the move after lowering back to the ground but was pretty pumped. Lucky there are a bunch of excellent rests on the rest of the route.

Quite a burly little crux into enjoyable climbing... especially when you don't punt

First real 25 in a day! 2nd shot. Psyched.
