Roadside boulders | |||||||
V6 | ★ Nature's Nation | ★ Good
Need to work initial right hand up as currently just slapping for it. All other moves have been completed and linked
Sun 29th Oct 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V7 | ★ Pain and Persistence
Sent with same line but different beta than description. Impossible to reach second sloper for shorter climbers.
Used the starting side pull as a left foot and locked off to the top. This beta felt easier and possibly in the V5/6 range |
Sun 3rd Sep 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V5 Hard | ★★ Ghanima - with Anthony Williams | ★★ Very Good
Needed a session last week to work out the beta but was able to do this twice today. Hard for the grade.
Sun 6th Aug 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V3 Hard | ★★ Babymoon - with Phavian Phipat | ★★ Very Good
Felt nails trying last time, felt nails trying this time, sent it and felt alright. Bag of sand but fun big moves
V5 | ★★ Sidney Crosby — 5 attempts - with Pranesh de Mel, Joseph Wong | ★★ Very Good
Super stoked to get this one! My first for the grade, very enjoyable. I'm 5"2 and was able to 3 finger drag on the really sharp crimpy hold instead of using the big pinch.
Tue 4th Jul 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V6 | ★★ Armchair Tourist | ★★ Very Good
Need to figure out a move or two between the first half and second and then it can probably go. Really have to fight through each move!
V2 | ★★ Disappearing spider | ★★ Very Good
Climb is nice!
V0 | ★ Sick skink and the ham | ★ Good
It's quite mossy up the top but you'll find that the best jugs up there are quite safe.
Fri 21st Apr 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V2 | ★★ Disappearing spider - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Looked far nicer than the one next to it - super thin feet, but just committed and pulled through
V0 | ★ Sick skink and the ham - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Just go up
V1 | ★ Shufflington - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Now wasn't this a doozy. Had to pull way harder on the left hand crimp than I ever would've wanted. Close to blowing it out to tbh, but kinda just hung around and got it in the end
V0 | ★ St James - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Interesting feet positioning as you move up the feature. Decent slopers before the mantle
V3 | ★ St Toby - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Spicy - but there was a little of everything to make it upwards. Soft?
V1 | ★ St Alia V1 - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Kinda cool, moving out to the left before heading up
V3 | ★★ Babymoon - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Seemed possible at the start, but ended up just being a really weird side pull with no feet. Do you just, throw it up and hope shit sticks?
V4 | ★ National Park - with Dan Bodd, Rachel Aistrope
Super long boy intensive. Barely got enough purchase on the right hand crimp to make any meaning lunge up to the ledge jug

Roadside boulders | |||||||
V5 | ★★ Sidney Crosby — 6 attempts | ★★ Very Good

Mon 13th Mar 2023 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V3 | ★★ The Railway — 3 attempts | ★★ Very Good
The flake moves when pulling hard.
V3 | ★★ Moisture for the dead — 4 attempts | ★★ Very Good
Used the right dislocated boulder for feet first couple moves. Top holds felt a bit sketchy but held for the mantle.
Mon 12th Dec 2022 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V0 ~V1 | ★ Ash's Arete | ||||||
Getting off the ground was solid. Probably a V1.
V3 | ★★ Moisture for the dead — 3 attempts
Close, just need to come back and give it a few more shots
Sun 13th Nov 2022 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V0 | Toby's slab #2 | 2m | Average
Climbed as a warm up with some friends. A nice chunk of a right side pull flake near the top broke off. Doesn't change the grade but be cautious near the top as the rock is frail.

Mon 7th Nov 2022 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V8 | ★★ Extended Pain | ★★ Very Good
Finally dialed in reliable bets on the final move by campusing plus an imprecise right smear.
Sun 9th Oct 2022 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V6 | ★★ Armchair Tourist | ★★ Very Good
Managed all the moves but was a bit too fatigued to put it together. This one makes you fight.
V8 | ★★ Extended Pain | ★★ Very Good
Final move feels harder than before. Managed to campus it in isolation, going for that now on the finish.
Mon 19th Sep 2022 - Mt Alexander
Roadside boulders | |||||||
V5 | ★★ Ghanima | ★★ Very Good
Still have no idea how this is going to go down. Any videos of sends on it around?
V8 Hard | ★★ Extended Pain | ★★ Very Good
Couldn't get to the final move crux with enough gas to make the finish. This wall stays mostly dry even in the wettest conditions so hope to come back this week to finish it up.

V8 | ★★ Lindy, Oatey and Rushdie | ★★ Very Good
Did the version with big foot, almost got the harder variant done.

Roadside boulders | |||||||
V5 | ★★ Ghanima | ★★ Very Good
This one perplexes me. Tried all sorts of weird beta from standing on the ledges but I can't reach anything reasonable up high to bring the feet up.
V6 | ★ Nature's Nation | ★ Good
Via no heel hook this time. Nice as it adds more technical footwork.

V6 | ★★ I touched his face, I felt the gift | ★★ Very Good
Very cool moves and a smooth top out if you don’t overthink it. I broke a thin flake crimp up top I knew better than to pull on so as always remember to be mindful of rock quality at all crags

Climb of the trip. Soft V4 but ill take it. Went second go, shattered I didnt get the Onsight.
V1 V0 | ★ Sick skink and the ham - with Aten | Average
Considering you have to jump up and do a press to begin the climb (aka there are no good feet) I don't think this is v0. Suggest upgrade to V1 to stay inline with the rest of the area.
