Best climb ever!

hard gutsy moves and sustained to boot.

With Dan Roe, got to the third bolt, talk about some amazing moves, not sure about the 22 as it felt at least 2 grades harder. This is my goal to aim for

woohoo, first time I actually had two shots in a row

Awesome steep beginning, into a daunting slabby lichenous finish.

Sustained and awesome. Was a close fight with the pump, but I finally prevailed.

Lead the initial overhanging burly section clean but was burnt out as I passed the lip on to the much more gentle overhanging sector near the 4th bolt and rested on the rope twice between here and the top. Great climb though and would love to go back with a bit more endurance! Good holds on solid rock.

Hard off the deck and sustained moves all the way to the chains.

Really nice movement. No definitive crux, just sustained climbing to above the 4th bolt.

Fun climb, that doesn’t completely let up once you get on the face... definitely not so “brutal”

Very pumpy 22! Feels more like a 23/24

This would almost be a 3 star route if the rock quality was a touch better. Climbs very well regardless

Had to bail below the roof. Couldn't for the life of me figure out the beta. Dyno maybe?

I don't usually review routes very negatively, but I didn't enjoy this one. Non-intuitive and awkward sequences, strange and often sharp holds, and incredibly dirty in the upper half. I did, however, find one of the most solid foot placements I've ever encountered - a toe lock/jam/heel hook combo to clip the third bolt!

With Dan, Terry & Lillian. couldn't make that crux move without a rest. Some tricky bridging.

Tricky crux.

Weird but cool. Warm up.

Crux move more technical than a 15 IMO. however short and basically a 1 move wonder. The direct variant of Snowball is a bit hairy at the top hence taking this line instead. as a warm up snowball should be a higher grade also IMO. good hold but high risk for reward if you don't know the route. That all said however good little climb with some interesting technique climbing to pull through the crux

First climb of the day.

Bloody brutal stretchy moves for a tiny person. Even spat off the more experienced and less vertically challenged climbers in the group. Very different style. Loved it when I finally got the hang of it.

Tough to be short

I don’t see how this counts as a different route to Snowball... it’s just skipping the hard move! “Brutal” rope drag avoided 😂

Interesting move to get onto the ledge after the 3rd bolt. Felt like I may have made it alot harder for myself with a balancy traverse to the arete.

The mantle move feels far more like a grade 20 than a 17.

Looks like there was a rock fall above the 3 bolt

Some bloody 19. More like a 21. Dan got it on TR in fine style.

With Dan Roe, screwed up the footwork at the 3rd bolt and had to stand on it.

With Antoine. This climb has a triple-giga-crux. That's three big crux moves one after the other. Excellent techy problem solving in beautiful corner vividly splashed with gold.

With Bernie. This seemed harder than I remmbered so maybe I was tired after yesterday

With Dan. Good quality rock & nice moves on this one.

With Terry, Lillian & Dan. Ben had a go, but gave up at the crux.

With Matt A. First undercling pulled out, I fell off, bat flew out. Maybe change name to "Undercling's Dummy Spit" or "Maggie Spits Holds and Bats". Reclimbed for the redpoint.
