Last pitch only, this is one tasty piece of rock

Got thrown on this at the end of a solid day. Bit of a dirty grovel guarding a genuinely great finish of multiple body lengths of hands and feet in a ~60 degree overhanging crack. Second ascent.

Great climb, moves flowed well, conditions were good and my headgame felt good.

Wow, what an incredible line. Very gnarly but possible with the right sequence.

Epic line, pitched it out. Punted on first shot of the final pitch, stripped the gear and sent next shot. The rap seemed longer than 34m.

Bolts only for a dash of spice

Fun lil adventure as an alternative to the windy horrorshow in the mountains that day. The lengths we go for a few metres of crack.

Maybe I’m not well rounded but the difference in difficulty between a well bolted blueys sport 20 and a grade 20 trad crack at the point never ceases to entertain.

Best single pitch crack I’ve done so far.

Flashed the 23 bit then proceeded to embark on a futile quest up into hostile territory. I managed some scary links up to near the final roof on choss and a prayer before my braveness quota for the day was reached. Lee is a beast.

Rad line, lil bitta choss here and there but the trad flowz and airy position make up for it. Linked with upper south bowens canyon for a full day of bushbashing and onsighting

Mega, epic long pitch with variety and lots of mini cruxes to keep you engaged.

This is a hard piece of rock, onsighted to first couple bolts then heinously dogged. putting bolt plates on this ground up sucked

had a bit of a time on this one, faffed around bumping gear around then committed to the traverse, got scared and tickled the ground. My partner tried with the same results. Managed to pull through on my second shot with a thank jesus sit once i got a cam in. Then i just had to persevere through a gross hanging belay on two pieces just above the roof. Bring more three's if you like feeling all warm and fuzzy. Pretty classic all up, it felt legit for only being 10m off the ground.

Gear didn’t leave me spoilt for choice

One of the great walls of Oz, started early, walking from Balor around 5:30 and topping out easily with plenty of daylight around 3:30. Led both the crux pitch and the traverse which were both supurb. After the traverse you feel adrift in a sea of rock. Everything goes around grade 13-15 and is (mostly) protectable so you just quest in the vague direction and take in the position. Climbing is rad!

Really good if it was clean, lack of traffic means it’s gotten a bit dirty

Such an awesome route and position. Charging to the top of old baldy blind had a feeling of old school adventure with the benefits of modern protection. The overhung crack and dihedral sections were great.

Felt a bit scary (especially at night) but definitely a cool local line

First proper whip on gear, slowly building a good headgame. Great climbing and very well protected.

Fun and varied, glad i didn't have to lead the tight chimney
