Ascents in Cammeray

Top-rope solo, nice moves in the bottom half, but couldn't work-out the moves to get above the horizontal breaks. I'll be back.

Needs a bit more traffic to clean up. Had a bit of trouble finding it and didn't realize i was in the right place until reviewing the guide today! Also did a fun traverse to top out problem on the adjacent boulder, starting with hand on the obvious jug in the crag at the start of Stand Up For the Sloper, traverse left at this height to the vertical crack to the right of the Sloper Slap Pocket line and top out via this crack and the slopers on top of the boulder to its right.

Cleared aside some Asparagus Fern for the mantle topout.

Seems like the "Dog" tick type is absent from boulders so it will have to be "Dab" with quality "Crap". Both actually highly applicable, as after flailing and just failing to haul out seal-style from this ungainly nightmare (V1 and counting), I had the misfortune to jump back and dab both right hand and foot into the most unspeakable, slippery, fresh, dog shit, which did not even have the dignity to have been expelled by a proper sized dog. Is this what climbing has descended into, falling into toy dog shit?

Committing moves past hole and over the top. Tainted with the right ledge foothold first then did it clean.

Interesting layaway and side foot move.

Definitely not 3 stars.

Did all of it expect the last bit around the arete. Very nice but there were some little trees in the way of one part making it difficult.

A fun climb that I spent quite a few attempts on. Got it after a short break.

Rock's a little crumbly. You'll attract a crowd watching on Saturday mornings!

I liked the undercling & arete slap, but the traverse wasn't really climbing, more like horizontal walking.

Attracted the fascination of two guys smoking and drinking Jim Beam for breakfast, felt very self conscious.

Fair bit of lichen on this boulder.

Weed-infested top prevented pure crackin'.

Much easier and cleaner the second time, after I removed the Bryophyllum - and ants nest! - from the crack. A couple of good solid jams.

Easy, but beware of the thin top top of the hole.

Easy climb I liked it. The chair is gone but the climb is identifiable.
