Wow! First climb in Alice and what a amazing route. Sustained on mostly perfect rock with exciting gear. Reminded me of 'new image' at Arapiles. More like solid 20/21.

Classic! Really fun gymnastic moves through the roof then some funky (I.e) strenuous moves above, especially if - like me - you are unfamiliar with the intricacies or jamming... (make sure to bring extra #4 cams)

one of the very best in Central Australia! first two pitches can be combined into one if you don't mind a bit of rope drag, its just a shame that the last pitch kinda sucks otherwise this would be an all time classic

the rock is as loose as it looks, the the protection is slightly worse than it looks (but still adequate) and the moves are even better than they look. Someone cashed in the stubby for a 10c deposit

This was one of my first Trad leads. As always in Central Australia, the rock can hide loose blocks and so you must protect yourself well and climb with confidence. This climb affords a range of protection options, for cams nuts and hexes. I thoroughly enjoyed this ascent and found it slightly challenging in places. Halfway up the wall lies a frozen nut... a sign of a previous fall perhaps? I reached the top to discover that the bolts are set about 7meters back from the edge of the wall. Consequently, communication with the second is difficult without extending the anchor a long way. I still love this crag
