2nd ascent... awesome line. End of a long seige!!

Having a sus. Two laps, mega classic route but damn that crux is hard! One for next season!

Sick route, with a cool crux so glad I hopped on it did all moves but one.

Pretty rad! One of the coolest 28s around. A few very spaced out dog laps and then sent it first red point attempt.

Pumpy and Cruxy!

Went back for another shot, needs a re-bolt (1 missing) and was quite dirty. A bit damp today, will have to come back with better conditions.

2 laps. 2nd was a good burn, but I'm totally struggling with a seeping (crucial) pocket, which got wetter throughout the day. Cruised the slab (23?) both laps, and got the rest of the climb (including the funky crux near the top) dialled. Good linkage too. This is ALMOST a megaclassic, but the uninspiring rock on the slab (which features great slab climbing) robs this of being possibly the best route in Nowra. The upper porcelain-white wall is stunning, and features amazing and varied move through sustained pumpy steepness on perfect rock (aside from the seeping pocket). The moves into the initial steepness (off the slab) are committing, as its a hard, long sequence, and I can't clip the next bolt until its below me! I will definitely be back!

Worth the hype.

Ugly but engaging slab start up to a no hands ledge, take a breath and pull onto the steep but surprisingly juggy head wall. Messed up the last hard move on the onsight, pumped through with better beta second shot. Such a rad looking wall and so tall.

2 Shots. On my 2nd lap I linked into the top crux (at the 2nd last bolt below the anchor). The slab today wasn't as hideously nails as I remember it, and the opening boulder problem to the steep stuff was totally dry! Just a bloody great route, and one that I hope I actually get around to ticking one day. Felt much easier today than it did a year ago, a good sign that my fitness is coming back at last.

I can see why this gets 4 stars in the guide, there's not a single move I disliked. The slab is excellent, but there's a committing crux above a draw only two bolts up. But this is not a climb for shorties, a lot of holds were just out of reach, I lost count of how many pounce/dynos I did, ~ 5. The headwall is where the money is at, great movement on jugs interspersed with crimps. Awesome rock quality. it would all go , dynos and all, if it wasn't for that upper crux... Anyway this is a dream climb for those with big reach or long legs.

3rd shot today. An unlikely EOD send after a big day. The slab at the start gets more pleasant when you refine it, but the continuous powerful and dynamic headwall is where its at.

1 lap to check the beta. 1 red point burn. Holds started seeping and slipped off the move before the crux as the jug had turned to soap! Mega climbing in the steep stuff. I’ll have to wait for the holds to dry and get back to get it done!

What a classic route! That headwall is mega! Like a gym route. Even the slab is good! Get on it, bolts are good!

cool route, not hard for the grade but good fun regardless. the direct start is the real deal!

spooged off crux 3 times (shitty conditions) - easy to top. good for fitness.

Whats the go with the super run out end? No bolts for last 10m to anchor with ground/tree fall potential. Bring some wires or small cams for the top!!!

The rabbit trap of babylon, climbed from the crux (second bolt) to the top first shot, couple of bits of trad at the top. Thought the hard boulder crux would go second shot but no dice, super steep awkward crux.

Amazing line, but the starting boulder problem is nails at the grade and out of context with the rest of the climb. I couldn't put the starting sequence together, but climbed the remainder with 3 rests. Ridiculously steep! Bring some wires and small cams for the top headwall. It's exciting!

Well sort of.. I didn't do the very first big move (not on a single old bolt 8m up thanx) but its easier enough to start on the 4. Great middle jugs after a good scrub but above the last bolt looks impossible? Finished as for the 24.
