Barely caught the crux crimp then with skating feet, slipped my way up past the last clip and managed probably the messiest send of this route ever. An exceptionally cruxy climb, but damn those moves are nice!

The definition of my style, nice hard moves on pockets, I absolutely love it, a lot harder than SW, Got all the moves but not fully with the body position I’d have on link, cannot wait to come back when there’s better conditions

Let out some involuntary Ondra screams trying to hold the accidental cut before the throw to the second bolt and held it but couldn’t get into the next pocket enough. Then linked from the pocket to the top again which is comparatively a lot easier. Now I just need to keep throwing myself at it until I stick the low percentage throw, could take sessions or seasons but I’m optimistic.

I never would’ve expected it but the Ondra screams seem to help a lot, sequence setting up for the throw is far higher percentage but the throws still low

Had a couple of shots but just hesitate every time i do the throw, and don’t commit to sticking the 2 finger pocket. Have the first sequence pretty dialled, and thanks to Alec’s beta once I stick the throw, it’ll be send time

Another session, another shut down. Tried the throw 30+ times but just never commited/ wasn't strong enough to make any improvements. Feel like it should be so easy but im finding it borderline impossible to go from touching it, to catching it.

Every position feels so easy to hold but i still just don't have the coordination to hit the pocket well. My muscle memory from trying the dyno 200+ times was making any attempt to static it near impossible. Not sure if im to far gone to rework my beta completely or to just give up. I'll see how i feel when i hit 500+ attempts.

2x redpoint attempts ending after dry firing out of the pocket. The process of the moves going from an absolutely physically exhausting battle to an absolutely effortless setup sequence has been awesome, but this climb is now at a point where attempts will continue to devolve into donating skin and time to a now semi mundane sequence for the sake of ticking a big grade which is far from inspiring.

James convinced me to have a quick try at the end of the day. Just pulled through the first bolt of climbing then stuck the move to the two finger pocket quickly(2nd or 3rd try) if I put some time into this then it might actually be doable!

How did I used to find most of these moves comfortable, the only move that felt fine was catching the crux pocket.
