learning bouldering moves on a rope

Careful: run-out between the (only) two bolts and no lower-off (either top-out or rap from tree). Move to first bolt is crux: thin. Roof is easy, just a little scary until you clip it.

I climbed slightly to the left of the first two bolts. Nice sequence, actually: 3 little boulders with three clips. First is easy; second takes a high hook to solve; for the third you've got to choose you feet carefully or pull hard.

Delicate but not too much. Some nice moves.

Would be 2 stars, but so many bolts... take some longer draws or double one to reduce drag.

Soft, unless we got mixed up because the topo isn’t pretty confusing. Although not sure where else we could have gone.

Super cool moves once you work out the start. Helps to be tall, so proud of Jalissa getting this for her first 21, even without those extra few cm!

This crag needs some loving, such a nice spot but looks like no one has been there for a while! Keen to come back on a cooler day and get on the 22s and maybe clean them up a bit.

Committing moves for a 17, maybe it was the humidity! Went right to the anchors as there seems to be none for this route.

Left hand crimp between 2nd and 3rd bolt broke away, rest of rock looks fine. Took alot of rests but got there. Big tree to rappel off above if not happy lowering from single bolt anchor.

First 21. Short climb but some fun moves.

Ended up extending 2nd draw and unclipping 3rd after clipping the 4th on roof to save rope a little. Crux move out of roof is good fun

pumped out trying to figure out the move past the second bolt. should hopefully go next time

first at the grade. enjoyable moves all the way up.
