Ascents in South East

This, as a single pitch, is one of the best pitches of climbing in the multiverse. This should NEVER be broken up into two pitches: why spoil a perfect pitch? I would have chopped the superfluous midway anchors during my onsight free solo but I forgot to bring my crowbar that day.

It goes on gear pretty easily, bomber cams in big slot abt 5-6 metres off the deck. boulder pads are a good idea.

Amazing climbing at the grade with awesome exposure. a lot of loose/brittle rock, similar to that on bruny island hidden zawn.

Not too tricky if your tall

We linked pitches 1 & 2 and 5 & 6, both about 35m and lots of draws. Could also link 3 and 4 but we were a bit spooked after a big rock ripped off on p3. Still very crumbly but most of the big loose stuff has already been trundled. Apart from a few (totally avoidable) loose blocks on ledges and in proximity to the route it’s super clean and rad climbing. Wild exposure. So intimidating being all alone at the base of that wall with only one way out, epic!

Think I belayed Martin on this ages ago. Nice climbing on good rock.

Had a couple of TRS attempts before the lead. Crux is good quality.

Beware the slightly suspect choss near the top. Great start and middle section, but yeah the finish is marred by bad rock.

Went first go putting the draws on. Was supposed to be a bolt-to-bolt warmup, but when you're feeling it.. you're feeling it. Nice climbing.

Some of the ugliest minging crimping i've ever done. I hated this. I want to come back and redpoint it so I never need to think of it again. Fucked for the grade.
