Ascents in Tasmania having Beta

This, as a single pitch, is one of the best pitches of climbing in the multiverse. This should NEVER be broken up into two pitches: why spoil a perfect pitch? I would have chopped the superfluous midway anchors during my onsight free solo but I forgot to bring my crowbar that day.

Found the first 3 moves the hardest but is stays on you from there to the top. Reasonably psyched on this if my skin ever grows back

Fell with three bolts to the top and then again at the roof at the last bolt. pretty happy with this effort on my first enduro route since China, but have a long way to get back to that fitness.

definately added 2 more cruxes to the first crux of Supernaut. Probably still hard 24 but if you took 25 for it, that would seem okay too. one burly and one technical crux. great to have such long quality pitches.

This is really hard to grade. for me it was 23 but if you are less than 6 foot tall the first move would be at least 24. In my mind the best 23 in Tas.

Omg 3l of water and 60m static hanging off my back made this feel pretty hard

Harder bigger brother of supernaught is maybe even better. Weird to see so little chalk on this classic line. One hang on the flash go definitely getting back on this, hopefully next week

Best 23 in the state. Hard enough to make you try at the start then what feels like a 100m of glorious easy climbing!

Good to repeat in a couples of tries

It goes on gear pretty easily, bomber cams in big slot abt 5-6 metres off the deck. boulder pads are a good idea.

Boulder problem to a rest, followed by sustained crimping similar to No Compromise. Worth looking at. The whole cliff is a nice piece of rock.

The bit on the flake is really cool.

My favourite of the lot. Cool sandstone-y features. Very enjoyable.

Bolts seemed bizarrely placed and the route felt contrived. I think I accidentally linked into the route on the left after the little steep bit.

Very enjoyable. I'd give it 3 stars if it was 3 times as long.

Fun little arete, not sure where to turn the lip but if you go too far its certainly a fair bit harder!

Fun sit start up the centre of the block, great fun but possibly harder? Needs some more people confirming the grade

Fun little climb with a big lock move to skip the worst holds. Not sure on the grade but this seems about right.

Punchy! Happy to push through and be rewarded with some surprise stances.

Amazing climbing at the grade with awesome exposure. a lot of loose/brittle rock, similar to that on bruny island hidden zawn.

Cheeky warm up on this one, before trying the start of the v10

Think I left it all on the 26, struggled! Will need to be fresh and feeling fit to link this.

Accidentally went off-route on the onsight, heading up and left instead of traversing. Could be link-up with route to left?? Two goes to get the traverse, but it was still cool.

Found this pretty hard, but some cool moments. Freezing cold morning until the sun came out halfway through the route.

We linked pitches 1 & 2 and 5 & 6, both about 35m and lots of draws. Could also link 3 and 4 but we were a bit spooked after a big rock ripped off on p3. Still very crumbly but most of the big loose stuff has already been trundled. Apart from a few (totally avoidable) loose blocks on ledges and in proximity to the route it’s super clean and rad climbing. Wild exposure. So intimidating being all alone at the base of that wall with only one way out, epic!
