Glad to have this ticked off on the same day we were taking our pads back. Heat is starting to get bad for those longer walks.

Glad the crux is on the face after the lip the slab is still committing although easier. First session and got it done.

Such an awesome, route. Super unique for Harvey's, the first legitimate kneebar on a route here? Thanks Andrew for letting me on this thing, glad to know there is still plenty to explore up there!

This was what I thought was the old mono project but there wasn't any monos/topo's to follow so id say this was new?? Super thin wide elevator doors to the slipperiest mantle I've done at Harvey's! Easy landing to protect which made a solo day out fun. Possible sit start I tried a few times definitely possible but very hard.

Who knows what the FA did but ignored the megajugs and went straight up. On the crack and then some crimps.

Nice to try. Probably need beta and fresh fingers. Condis were ON though. Nice finish to an unforgettable day. Cheers Madoc for the tour.

Super surprised at my progress today, made it halfway up the overhung face to the beginning of the high crux. I was super inspired watching Chris pick up the 3rd ascent, I can't wait to get back on this crazy piece of rock.

after my recent federicks trip this climb just didnt match my styel, i just dont think it was meant to be climbed. Knife blade krimpers and glued on holds. It took me bout 60 seconds to decide to move to another climb :p

I'd been thinking about this route since the late 90s when Doug established it and my friend Jason came very close to climbing it before ending his life. I was keen to put it to bed, and it likely would have happened had I not pulled off the crucial glued-on jug at the 3/4 point. The route will be in the ~28 region once it's re-glued. Small holds, pretty painful and tenuous.

Broke the crux hold, harder but was still able to do it after a sit.. Had to work out new beta for the next move now, see how it goes next week. Rained out.

Good burn fell going into the last crux when a foot broke

Turns out that foot was also the hand i used to get into the credit card pinch i broke last week, and i had to find new beta. Found a new small crimp to make it work but this sequence is just getting harder. Oh well still able to do it from half way.. hopefully the rain stops next week so i can have more then 2 goes in a day

Another weekend another go.. Worried about those broken holds. Felt good during warm up go, able to do it with 1 break! Send attempt coming up!

Made a few move errors and moved into the crux terribly, came off while going for the credit card. Able to get through the crux after but felt like resting for another go rather then working beta..

NEW HIGH POINT. Fell on last hold before top easy section. Just needed to go a little deeper on that crimp. Feels so close now even after making the crux harder last week, woohoo!!

The heat made this feel so much harder.. after not being on it for so long glad i can still get to double kneebar rest before last boulder problem while putting draws on!

Got to last move before top out, just couldn't pull up way to fatigued from last few days climbing. So solid now with beta, feels closer every weekend still feeling fun!

Guess it's good to have a few shots at this before I leave again. Got on it pretty late so only had one go. Managed to remember it all and link it really well until the last deadpoint move. Maybe Thursday?

good to just be on sends attempts now rather then working moves and parts as Elsie said after my massive sook today with this climb.. Rain came in and we had to bail. 1 very solid attempt today and 1 very trashy one because of some rain
