Awesome long warm up on really good stone, the climbs on this section of the wall is the next best thing to climbing on taipan.
Lots of great holds and classic grampains slopers, plenty of no hands rests with a sneaky finish.

Super surprised myself with my flash attempt falling off above the last bolt. Dialed in the top section once the pump had subsided but fell off the same spot on my second shot. Pretty burned on my third.

The first route of the trip. Tricky start then nice long wall this a pumpy finish. This wall can get cold if the wind is blowing up the gully.

26 | ★★ Thundercats | 25m, 8 | Victoria Range | ★★★ Classic | Thu 8th May 2014 | |||
Cool route.. Starting up popeyed and traversing the across the slab was fun then you can craft a good rest just before committing to the tricky crux. I spotted a key hold after I had fallen off, bummer. The top half isn't to bad and great climbing, the double gaston more is stella.
Second shot went easy.

Well that was a surprise....
Fun pocket dyno start and a few other pockets and classic spurt slopes lead you up the the ledge. A good rest here then a quick compression boulder and a commiting mantel and your done.
I really liked this, could do with a rebolt but the bolts are fine.

The 'one last shot' for the send. Forth shot today with very varied conditions. The sun came out and I managed to stick the left footer.
Dyno pocket start, sustained 24ish moves to a extended crux with blind feet. I had to put a really long draw on the crux. I really liked this route, very hard 27 or soft 28?? |

I finally got here Matt.. I though yeah doesn't look that hard, all jugs at the top and only short.....
Then bam I pulled on, moves aren't that hard but the complete lack of worthwhile feet makes this route super powerful and sustained. 3 shots no dice, a boulders route for sure, the top holds aren't jugs

The easiest and by sure not the best climb I have done down here. Has some cool moves on the Orange rock but the rest is so so, and then I rained..

Just a little play. Did the boulder start second shot (V6/7) then mostly draw to draw. Super funky steep climb but the rope runs a bit funny in spots and I got a bit scared. The top crimp boulder is nails, a real heartbreaker.
