Fine enough, for slab.

Eh, it was okay. A bit muddy.

Totally sandbagged! Should be 3 at the very least.

Got up with plenty of shouted beta. This is the best of what I climbed today, possibly of the whole crag. Remarkably consistent in difficulty over the entire route.

Good mix of moves. Easy for the grade.

A good route, requiring a fair amount of trust in your shoe rubber.

Felt weirdly easy, easier than Whisper anyhow. Possibly it was just top-rope induced courage (didn't fancy using the single piton at 12m to protect the whole climb).

Very good fun, this. Couple of tense, slippery parts - it's well worth slinging the tree in the gully prior to setting the next clip.

Okay for practising trad placements, maybe.

A ripper solo out over deep water - what's not to love? Get those heel hooks in.

Pumpy, fun workout.

Good workout.

Slabby, friendly, easy to protect, short.

The crux requires finesse to get through, not to mention a couple of serious crimps. After that, it changes up into a slab requiring balance and nerve. Recommended!

Deceptively easy at the start, the top third provides all of the excitement.

Stalled out on the unsettling top section. Trust those tiny feet.

Decent climb, but unremarkable.

A pleasant enough warm-up.

Easy enough to be relaxing, thin enough to still have interest.

Tricky second bolt is the crux, 8m runout after the fourth adds excitement.

Sometimes you just wanna climb slab.

Woosed out a bit on the crux, the first go. It's easy once you know how. Trust your feet.

Balance and poise required, rather than strength.

Decent warm-up climb.

OK warm-up.

Good clean fun, climbing up over the jagged flakes of gouging. Well-protected, but don't slip.

Good protection to be had, interesting climbing, nice tense little roof sequence to finish.

Not exactly a clean ascent, but I got up. Crimpy, technical, and highly entertaining. Classic.

Fell of the crux, again! Even though I knew what to do!

Finally got this classic dialled in and scaled cleanly. Such a good climb. Fist pump!

Getting back to stiffer grades, slowly. This was a great confidence-booster today.

Pure quality.

Great crack, but super short.

Decent variety of moves required. Mind the spiders.

Okay to practice gear placements on, I guess.

The practice finally paid off with a clean ascent. A personal best! Back soon to try for the clean lead.

Finally nailed this cleanly on lead, despite my apparent desire to reinvent half the moves each time I climb it. Classic!!!

Hilariously good fun, on lead. Would be an awful lot more committing to climb it trad.

Next lead project, maybe.

A pleasure to get on this again.

A clean ascent, on the second go. A time or two more to dial in the moves, and it'll be time to try this on lead.

Not quiiiite ready to try the lead. Soon.

One last practice ascent.

A clean lead on a classic route, and a new personal best at that. In the sunshine. Life feels pretty good.

A route with very little to recommend it. First viable protection is 10m up, second is another 15m higher, then you scramble to the top of the first pitch. If you're going to put yourself at that much risk, the climb better be worth it. Second pitch is a 5m joke. Skip this one.

A very pleasant surprise, way better than expected. If it were at ground level, I'd describe it as "must try".

Pleasant enough climbing, worth doing to reach On Edge (above). Use the last third as an opportunity to practice your trad placements.

The first pitch is fairly straightforward, the second is a lot more challenging (hats off to Kym). Second carrot on the 2nd pitch (after the hanger) is in a butt-clenchingly high spot.
