Routes as sport in Northwest Territories

Fun vertical crack with some interesting moves lower down and good opportunities to practice jamming.

Very fun, satisfying route. Mostly crimps with a a nice rest jug 2/3 of the way up.

Follow bolt line to the right of Big Crack.

Straight forward start up some big stepped slopey ledges. Short thin crack leading to large ledge before finishing with another short push to top anchor point.

Nice long thin crack angling from right to left. Unfortunately broken up by a mid-point ledge. Relatively long route. Slab angle makes it fairly beginner friendly for new crack or lead climbers to learn on.

Slabby lead climb. Lower section is fairly broken up with small ledges.

A slabyier stlye arrete climb. Stepped style of rock makes for a beginner friendly route.

The centre of the left blocks face. Hard start, then more easily through run outs

The route just to the left of the chimney

The route up arête just right of chimney. Hard start.

Up right side of bloc with slightly overhung start to bolt, then up slab more easily

Start to the right of the large raised ledge and follow the bolt line through a collection of crimps and sharp pockets. Route runs to the right of the crack.

Difficult face climb. technical moves, small crimps. Nice movement in great rock.

If you can't do the stemming groove, you can still boulder onto the ledge and try the upper half.

The left hand route of 4 on 2 large blocks separated by a chimney, to the north of the penguin. Spaced bolts.

Gentle slab, pretty moss/lichen covered. Note the piton in the upper section.

Burly technical climb. Bolts are extremely run out.

North of main bivy cave is a large boulder with 3 routes, this is the left most one

If you can't recognise this boulder you need to visit an optometrist. Stemming corner then up the neck to the beak.
