Ascents in Screeching Wall

Tried it for the first time. It went pretty smooth until the crux in the middle. The crux required a high right foot as far to the right as possible. That would allow to stand up using pretty small left hand crimp and the right foot and reach for a good hold with the right hand. The very top part was also pretty tricky, not sure I did it in the best way

What a climb!!! Pure joy, took 2 days to send, 2 attempts per day.

I did 2 attempts some time earlier this week and sent it on the second attempt today. Used a kneepad for easier roof clip, it wasn't a kneebar rest for me though. Felt pretty good during the send but that's because I had all the beta dialed during the 3 attempts before. Mega classic!!!

In my opinion, one of the best routes at Skaha. Engaging and interested the whole way.

Wished I had taken some trad gear as it's quite runout for a Skaha route, nice variety from bouldery face to slab to overhung

A medium wire above 4 th bolt would be nice to prevent potential big ledge fall. Good all the way
