Pitch 1 and 2 were awesome. Linked them. Went off route on pitch 3, we were meant to go left but went up right through the bolted roof which is not in the guidebook/on the crag. Big whips out of the sky on a hanging belay. Fun adventure. Rapped off the top of pitch 2 (40m rap)

Started with the first pitch of Torre Fuerte (5c). In third pitch accidently switched over to Torre Fuerte again, hence had to do a little traverse back to the route. Advanced too slow and felt already tired, not in shape at the moment... The rock especially in the first pitches is pretty loose. Higher up it got better, but always climb mindful! Protection is sufficient, some stoppers and cams can be helpful.

Tocará volver… las orientaciones de la guía que teníamos son de coña. Sol todo el día y encima con mucho calor! Le dimos un pegue al primer largo porque ya habíamos ido hasta allí, pero para esta vía hay que ir con frío y días nublados si no te quieres achicharrar en la pared.

We (knowingly) climbed this in 8C w/ 70kph wind gusts so it was spicier than it needed to be. The route is definitely chossy and has some runouts on not-that-great holds. Beware climbing below other parties and be confident at the grade. A lot of the harder moves are sketchy-ish feet with sloper-ish crimps. Plenty of rockfall and a bonus sketchy traverse due to going the wrong way on pitch 4. Check the topo often. We started super late and abandoned the route at the base of the last pitch, but it was still a pretty fun adventure. If you're in high wind and it starts raining, don't worry, it's probably just the waterfall nearby =P

The entry pitch is really good and worthwhile even if you abseil again afterwards. Probably 35 meters or more. First steep crack and holes then a slab at the end. From the first belay you go along the old rings first a little to the right and then directly up into the crack (fist, hand). It felt harder than the first pitch, but probably the power decreased and my crack technique was really bad or not existing. Then we had to abort because of the approaching darkness. Rappelled down with head light So the limited free time was used to the maximum. #lastrouteoftheday

Couldn't make out the bolts from the ground so I trusted the topo in the Schwertner book where this is drawn as a single pitch with "high first bolt". Ridiculous. Put one nut in half-way up to the ledge, then realised at the "first bolt" that the traverse is a separate pitch and it's impossible to do it without bringing up a second, so I lowered from there.

Started off relatively well with the first two pitches, despite the bad conditions. The third pitch was completely wet, though, so Jeni switched to aid mode. This, however, took a pretty long time. I managed to second it cleanly and fast, but wouldn't have dared this on lead. We thought the wet pitches were over now, because after the wet chimney start of pitch 4, it looked dry, so we pushed on. I managed to cleanly lead that pitch, the end of which is a brutally hard, polished crack which reminded me of "Steckelesriss" in Burglesau. Jeni started up the next crux pitch, but gave up after half an hour or so, which was the next bad sign. I managed to finish that pitch, but looking at the clock, I was dead sure that we wouldn't make it to the end of pitch 7 in time. I definitely didn't want to get benighted, so we decided to bail. Luckily, there are many glue-ins, so you can back-track relatively safely. Our rope got stuck once, shortly before we reached the ground, but we managed to pull it down after a while.

Too much wind. We hike the evening and made a bivouac at the hut. Early bird first walk through snow until the bottom. We went right from the root free to skip the 2 first pitches. Spaced split so no plaisir but normal for alpine route. The third pitch was nice and I expect that the rest of the route is really enjoyable. Do not underestimate the way down if there is snow.

Return from fifth pitch - no moral to continue through unprotected (but beautiful) crack. We returned to the top of the fourth pitch, continued 100m more in the right and climbed to the ridge of the Vecchia by some other (route (two pitches through slabs and short chimney, about 5b or 5c)

There were 4 people in front of us, which we only realised when talking to two of them at the first belay. They were terribly slow and when I had just finished the bulk of pitch 2, sitting uncomfortably mid-route on a chockstone waiting for them to clear the next belay, it became clear that this wouldn't happen any time soon. So eventually I climbed back down to the belay and we abseiled down since we didn't have too much time on our hands … To the route itself: the first pitch was actually meant to be climbed in the chimney, but I didn't spot some of the hidden pitons and threads, so I climbed the pillar on the right and then traversed back into the chimney at a good piton. Interesting, but a bit scary. The second pitch is quite short with a funny tunnel section (you don't fit through with a backpack!) before the belay.

Pro is slightly spicy for a beginner like me (groundfall risk in the crux... not from high, but not nice either. Much easier w/o backpack since the crux is an offwidth that widens to a body jam so if you can enter the jam it'll make your life so much easier. There's a good hand jam in one of the secondary cracks if you can reach it when you'll need it. Above that it's easy chimney on good holds, no fixed pro but mobile opportunities. 4 3 35 Second lead by andrei badea 5 6 50 Second lead by andrei badea Retreated off intermediate belay station from Rosculet due to rain and hearing some thunder in the distance. Crux is fun, an overhanging bouldery crack move. Seems to be a cool feet sequence there but I didn't have the time to work it out so just pulled on draws to get the hell out of Dodge. Splitting the length is a good idea anyway I feel, communication would be iffy otherwise. If you do retreat down Rosculet as we did, the next bolted station is 45m down on a grassy ledge under an overhang (you'll see an hourglass threaded with red 5mm cord on the way - we set the cord but didn't rap it - then a piton (rapped it, moves a bit but stayed fast) and then the bolt). I really really recommend having the last person that leaves the belay be someone who can deal with passing knots on rappel, and pulling the rope before they leave until it passes the grassy ledge, because it's a bit friable and likes to eat knots. 2 ~30m halfropes, frizzy lower ends, free to a good home if you hurry there. 6 Trad	Trad 160m	Coștila	★★ Very Good	Ruxandra V	Sun 11th Sep 2022

Climbed 2nd, 3rd pitch, walked 4th and 6th pitched, walked on different route on 1s and 5th pitches, and walked to ÖTK Klettergarten after 6th pitch. I think the beginning of the 3rd pitch is more difficult than 3+, it should be rated 4.

Bailed after 3 pitches because of a thunderstorm. Led the first pitch. Really interesting rock with lots of pockets and slots, which made for awesome and thoughtful climbing in a stunning setting!

komische Routenführung, in der 4. SL verstiegen und abgebrochen. SL: lohnende Kletterei mit interessantem Kaminüberhang, gut abgesichert SL: Schrofengelände mit fast keinen Haken, Stand an Baum SL: Querung die Schuttrinne hinab, Stand an Baum SL: einige BH, aber schwierige Routenfindung, lohnender Fels, irgendwann Querung nach rechts? dann Rückzug mittels Abseilen über die Route (unproblematisch)
