Down leading on second was a highlight. Super cool position. Never done so much traversing on a climb. Lead 1,3,5. Best be comfortable slabbing at the grade a long way sideways from your bolts. Lots of alternative anchors to alter pitch lengths or number of pitches if desired.

First crux felt easier today, second one took like 5-6 tries (went first try yesterday) idk. 🤷‍♂️ Fell at all three cruxes. Seems to be getting harder. Tired after 2 pitches. ffs.

Fuck everything at Cascade is so good! Went up to the first crux in one link. Three distinct cruxes on the head wall, each felt ridiculously hard until I found the way. Was careful to really dial the beta this time so I don’t waste 3 goes changing beta like I did on Vagabond. Will project this next time I’m at Cascade.

Thought this was gonna’ be my first proper red point go. Got to the first “crux” and somehow my previous beta didn’t work anymore. Had to find my third beta through there. 🤷‍♀️ Climbed to the top, lowered to the bottom of the head wall. Climbed the headwall in one link on top rope. Very pumped, felt dubious. Scrappy start, somehow got into the flow on the headwall and just shook my way to the top. Right on the limit for the last few moves. Bloody brilliant!

Figured out the moves, nothing individually complicated, just consistently pumpy. Really like it, might be my new proj. Fell coming out the lip, the knee bar is cool but causes a big swing. Tired. Heel to right hand match was better to prevent cutting.

Was a good candidate for my first 7b flash but turns out I needed my hands the other way round for the crux. Ah well. Crux felt pretty good but somehow got super pumped at the end and skipped the last draw as I was too pumped to clip it. Bit of an exciting finish! Fun climb but I think "Keket Blues" is classier.

Went really well up to crux ledge, didn't quite get it right, tried proper hard anwyays, made another move then punted off. One move from glory. 😢 Felt really good then did some weird dyno thing to the ledge and punted off. Climbed really smoothly, just too tired, first go = best go, yet again.

First climb at Ceuse! Bit of a pumpy warm up (the 6b was in sun by the time Dan climbed it!) a bit polished at the bottom but cool thuggy moves! A big cloud provided just enough shade for another burn, had to put the draws in again as Dan had cleaned. Heaps better on my feet this time and generally calmer. Still pumped by the top though!

2 shots in the sun. Rad steepness on huge holds with big moves in between, to a final boulder problem crux. I think I could tick this in 3-4 more shots, but sun, afternoon rain, and this being my final day at Ceuse meant it was time to tackle something else. A brilliant, Nowra-like climb on trademarked ceuse rock.

2nd shot, in the blazing sun. Hard, steep, bouldery and polished, with a nails hard (and possibly dangerous) 3rd clip. Would be 24 at Nowra. Amazing climbing that doesnt let up until the anchor.
