Ascents in Galawand having Beta

Logical line, probably the oldest here despite its late first free ascent (there are old pegs in the crack). Quite nice. Astonishing how black the footholds are already.

Nasty start sequence, then great climbing on sidepulls and big pockets. A bit bold, but not dangerous. The clipping hold for the third bolt is loose, though!

I don't know … I don't usually complain about bolt positions, but here it's just too forced. A bit more on the right and you get the logical line along/slightly left of the arête. I guess it was meant to keep people from going even further to the right? Now it's just awkward because you need to reach quite far to the left to clip. Already from the first to the second bolt, the position of the bolt seems to lure you away from the massive jug on the arête. Would be a good climb otherwise.
