Also known as 'Le pas facile'. Thought I'd up the ante. Really nice slab (who says that??? But it's true) start then holy s*tsticles batman! Mono undercling, two finger undercling* (same finger) and then to top it off... Steep grey slab!!!! Ouchy! First shot was very bolt to bolt on the overhang trying to work out the sequence.

Second shot made a lot of surprising linkage with a workable sequence. Could do all the moves with a bit of gravity assist. Now if I could lose weight and bump up my finger strength, I think I could do it.... Eventually....

The first 25m is super good, but the last 5m slab is so difficult to figure out the beta, it seems like at the third last bold, some crucial hole might be broken, at least a 7c boulder on the slab. Such a pity.

Well, what can I say? Overhyped for starters, bloody Gresham. Secondly, there's a blank patch so what's he done? Drilled a mono pocket. Yes, it is drilled. An my frikkin finger doesn't fit in properly. HB would have no chance. Train L-hand monos if you want this tick.

Robbie put the draws on so I could try for a redpoint straight up. Skipped two clips, fell on the traverse (highpoint), 10m fall. Skin destroyed.

To just under the crux. I forget how much I ordinarily rely on friction. This thing is polished to a high gloss and you have to grip so bloody hard. The top crimpy crux is nails! Super solid 8a.

Thought this would be an impossiproj but 2nd lap had me clean to the crux, holding the crux hold... got to the next hold and then clean to the top. Ran out of shade otherwise would have jumped on lead. Definite possiproj!!

put it up, then took it down. humidity has basted it in oil!!! such a pity. Last time in good conds got to crux clean. at least this time had a longer play at the crux and maybe found another way to get through it. til next year....

Climbing is awesome, bolting is not (positions, and rust). Climbed to first crux onsight, worked this out (it's a foot dyno); but the top crux is unnecessarily way above the bolt. Took the fall once and pendulumed hard into the cliff, smashed up my arm. Took the fall twice and had enough. Needs a rebolt.

Conditions were good. Still can't hold the crimp though. 3 shots. Clean to the move below the crimp. Clean from the move after the crimp to anchors... Lose weight, get stronger...

3 full laps with about 10 laps at the crux sequence. Found out the hard way it's easier to clean on tr so after a huge swing at the roof, top roped to clean. Kept climbing til I came off... At the crux as always. Not bad for back to back climbs in humid conds

Still can't hold the crux crimp. Sailing to the crux, falling. Clipping the next draw then trying the crux again. Sailing to the anchors. Not sure this is ever gonna go. One bloody hold! At least Scott got it!

Not sure if this is a project or if it's even a 7c+.... two really really hard moves... or my 6 months off climbing made me really weak. 1st shot I thought it was impossible but 2nd shot, I can now see a full possible sequence. One hold I am unsure if my weak little fat fingers will ever hold but the rest could come together... if I had a lot more time. Still a lot of loose broccoli but once this cleans up a bit more it could be really good.

Was quite surprised I could even climb today. Was even more surprised that I could do all the moves to the tufa. Had one move I'm not sure whether my hand was just tired from yesterday or if it's just beyond me... the rest was ok. But being that the one move is a bit of a reach problem I'm not keen to come back... yet. The rest was really cool though.
