What a view, what a route. This would be a megaclassic but there are so many here that some like this can go completely unnoticed: only three ticks? According to the guidebook it's 7a+ (with music), but 8a.nu goes for 7a.

Crux at the very top, moves have to be worked out, difficult to onsight. Perhaps too many bolts? Mind Z-clipping. Sound route.

Done the whole route with q Z clip in the very 1st quickdraw... still don't know how I managed to get up, hardest 6b ever that way XD

Amazing go, I was really in flow, unfortunately took a whipper on the second crux! For the first crux, I just pushed, and instead of looking for tiny footholds I just used friction. Amazingly, it worked out!

Also a fun go, but didn't have power left, so this time I fell already on the first crux (and a couple of other places ).

Super climb! Next time I will get it. Defo not 7a, I would say 6c.

Warm Up or so I thought........great climbing on bomber rock.

Took a massive whipper.....gripped and stressed and scared......bad head day.......first for a while....a little pissed, but haven't fallen off a route like this for quite some time. Humbled

First shot was appalling. I think Scott just hauled me up it. Second shot was better but I can't see me ever ticking this. Brutal and sharp!!

Conditions were pretty crap but finally got here rested! first shot after getting the draws on felt the best but missed the deadpoint to the crimp.

Third shot, in my mind I thought if I get that crimp, I only have to do 2 more moves and I know I can do the rest. Reality was, not having put an extension draw on, I nearly came off on the 'jug'. Scott was getting ready to run! But, being that's the first time I got that far clean, I knew I didn't have it in me to do it again. And its been long enough already! Nearly came off in 2 more places (there may have been some swearing) but determination (and maybe coffee beans) got me through! Yaay!!!

(2) average conditions today, one improved sequence worked out so will call that a win. Overnight new guidebook downgrade

3 good lead shots, good linkage above crux to anchors, need to consolidate 2 clipping positions and it should go (3)

High point. Got through the crux and fell on last crimp before the good holds. Last shot of day fell going for said crimp. Got on below crux and clean to top. Oh well. Now for those rest days with all that supposed rain!!

New crag, so had to check it out. Will not be rushing back.

Quite deceptive - looks easy, but not so easy on redpoint.

A good way to get over the jetlag. Couldn't clip the third and didn't want to deck on my first day.

3 shots. First and second were terrible but third definitely had progress. Can finally do the crux clip and changed a problematic footer for something dodgier but works much better. Conditions were still bad. That breeze stayed on the wrong side of the mountain.

Still no send but the second shot was the best so far... All on 4 hours sleep. It's all training I guess. (4)

More like a 7b starting razor holds then a dangerous finish with loose blocks!! Not kaly style at all. Stay away!!
