Ascents in Kazakhstan

Made sure to eliminate the rib to get the grade. Pretty stoked to do it on the second lead attempt after some toprope sessions. It's a fantastic climb with two demanding cruxy sections that reward good balance, technical tweaks, and strong fingers.

Bailed near the second-last bot, but later realised those moves are not so hard. Seems doable.

Dialled the two bottom cruxes and figured out the top one. Seems doable.

Very happy to get this one after a few falls near the anchor. Despite being somewhat (mostly?) manufactured, the climbing is engaging and sustained. Very worthwhile.

Good to tick another local testpiece. Short but packs a punch. Climbed it with the second bolt clipped, which is accepted.

But I'm not sure about the grade, with this beta it is probably easier. And I don't have a lot of expirience with 7c routes

Very enjoyable moves on small crimps and reasonable holds; rewards good footwork. I think it might be easier than 7b+/c, but I'll leave the grade unchanged.

Looks really nice, but was a bit too sharp for my soft tips.

Maybe it was the heat, but this feels like it's a fair bit harder than 7b.

Fantastic climbing. Funky moves in corner lead to big moves and then nice crimping. Bolt positioning is a bit odd at the start.

Interesting crux followed by a few spicy moves on sharp crimps. Very good.

Amazing line!

Awesome route. Sustained climbing on small crimps with interesting movement. It feels more like 7b than 7a+ Didn't have the finger skin or time for a redpoint attempt.

Cool weather helps. Feels like climbing on razor blades, but it's a lovely route!

Finally, after two seasons and countless changes of beta, I managed to sent it. Definitely way harder than any other 7a+ in the region.

Big moves from cool pockets.

Some dodgy rock at the bottom, but the upper corner is fantastic. Interesting moves and an unexpected crux.

Nice sustained route that rewards good body positioning.

Figured out the crux.

Traversed right in the middle from the sharp sidepulls and then went up along the bolts. No sure if it is still counts. Guess, I will have to try again.
