Ascents in Tarahumara Pass

Last pitch was probably worst pitch of choss I have ever climbed. Almost made it not worth it. Still an incredible summit and adventure including 5am Breakfast, sketchy scramble approach and the hike in. I didn't count on the shade and wind all day and was freezing.

Such a rad route. The first couple pitches are a bit vegetated but not terrible. From the third pitch on the route is great.

We linked P3+4 and P5+6. What a great climb that deserves more traffic. The exposure and sense of adventure definitely create a wonderful ambiance. Also, there is almost never another party up there! And the walk in really isn't that bad. Longer than most in the portrero but on good paths.

Definitely better with a 70m and linking pitches. 10a moves were few and far between, honestly had more trouble with the first 5.9 moves and the approach, but fantastic summit. Do Blackstar while you are there since you won't do that approach twice. The rap on the descent of the approach looked like more trouble than just scrambling.
