Ascents in 1080 Gully

Nicest climb of the day from my perspective

Unsure what I actually did, went up the hangers to the right of "Bury me in a y shaped coffin" in the corner crack to begin, stood on top of the right pillar and went up the face. Ran out of holds and the climb got filthy, couldn't find anything to traverse back to the right with and took. Everything except this traverse felt fair for 18 so I imagine you go past the bolts of y shaped coffin and up there for the grade 18, or potentially climb the pillar to the right after the face and traverse back at the top (but you'd be a long way from you bolts)

seriously one of the best climbs at paynes ford, short and bouldery arrete slapping. technical and stiff af for the grade. highly reccomended... on top rope

had to try again for the clean top rope send, thew me off again, beta intensive.

Actually think the left start is easier, super glassy feet exiting slab though.

Took a little bit to figure out the start but after having lunch I wizzed up it. What a sweet climb up the crack

Pretty slippy at first 2 bolts. Fine after that. Slipped on the second bolt though

Does is get better than this?? Happy to work out all the moves, will have to come back with more skin and colder temps to get this.

Got through to the last crux before falling. Feels very doable but needs better conditions.

This route is awesome crux is down low and essentially a bolted crack to the top!
