Ascents in Mount Kaukau

Might just be the hardest and coolest route I've ever climbed. Definitely would suggest an upgrade to around 25. Leading it would basically be a solo

one good bit of gear. probably would have been easier to solo it, as i got pretty pumped fiddling around with gear.

pretty cool, unfortunately the gorse bush in the middle of the climb makes it tricky to follow the correct route

really nice, feels surprisingly long

top out is very mossy

surprisingly cool moves after the overlap

very nice, until the mantel on the flake that sounds like it's about to fall off

very nice up the arete, the top is a bit loose and scary though

cool climbing until the press off the death flake

The route is covered in moss, therefore adherence to the wall is very difficult. Not really enjoyable on a wet/humid day. Trad protection seems sketchy.
