Ascents in Te Whanga-nui-a-Tara / Wellington

Fine, found a funky little knee bar at the beginning which was fun.

Got a little too heady when I saw the runout between the third and fourth bolts.

Nice climb, much better than it looks from the ground.

If you want something easy amongst the sandbags.

Better than Lazy Boys.

A rare soft climb for the area.

Watch for dabs on the boulder behind.

A nice climb with a beached whale mantle.

Tough to tell what's in and what's out, to be honest. I personally wouldn't give it 2 stars (as it gets in the Bronx guidebook).

I might have made it slightly harder than it needed to be, but V1 is debatable.

Need to work it.

Lots of lichen, I imagine that the first pitch and the view are what earn the whole route its star.

Needed more of a warm up than this provided. Nice area

It was a bit wet,and cold and breezy, but quite a fun romp, the rock deteriorates up the top. Good bolts. Second go.
