Crazy busy day, planned to do 'Long Time No See' but ended up on Calculus Direct to avoid a large crowd but still hit traffic at the top belay of the second pitch of calculus. Then headed up 'South Arete' (again to avoid the crowds). Then made our way up the last 2 pitches of 'Long Time No See' before heading back down.

Started up at around 6:30 pm for a sunset climb, finished up at the top in the dark. This is definitely going to be a classic! Linked pitches 2,3, and 4 with an 80 m rope, then also linked pitches 7 and 8. The slab traverse of pitch 6 was a personal favorite.

5.10b 5.11a Pee Stains - with Ryan Parker, Reese Sport 12m, 4 Squamish Average Sat 25th Sep 2021
While this looks like it's covered in moss, surprisingly all the holds seem to be clean.

5.10d Tampon Applicator - with Ryan Parker Sport 13m, 5 Calabogie Very Good Sun 28th Jul 2019
Finally tried this one after having an obsession with 'Res-Erection', solid climbing all day way up, there is a somewhat critical hold just below the second bolt that feels like it's about to peel off, so make sure your belayer is paying attention through this low section.

5.10c 5.10d Bar Star Sport 20m, 9 West Kootenays Very Good Sun 28th Jun 2020
Cool bouldery moves down low, followed by good slab above.

5.11a 5.10d Le Pilier - with D-Lit Sport 30m, 14 Paroi Elephant Very Good Fri 14th Aug 2020
Fun route, mellow at the bottom, straight into a hard crux, then continues with sustained climbing on small holds to the top. The route felt like about 5.11a to me, although others seem to have listed it as easier, the FA listed it as 5.11b.

5.10d Wavy Gravy - with Ryan Parker Sport 25m, 11 Squamish Classic Fri 1st Oct 2021
Would be a great route if it wasn't wet at the time, but most of the critical hold were dry.

Really fun, well protected at the top even though it doesn't look like it from the ground.

Knocked off a foot hold just past the roof. Shouldn't affect the route too much.

As must as I would love to say I onsighted 5.11a, I feel like this is closer to 5.10c. Still a great climb though.

There is a loose feeling block about half way up, my partner gave it a few kicks while rappelling and it held but one or two more winters and it might come loose.

Very cool moves through the roof. Went left though the roof instead of what seems to be the more travelled right side, probably about the same difficulty. Thoughtful moves at the top.

5.10c Chuck-wylde - with Ryan Parker Sport 24m, 9 Red Rock: Pet Wall Mega Classic Thu 14th Oct 2021
This could be one of the best routes in Eastern Ontario! Lots of variety, long, and the option of a jam or a layback at the top!

Still a little dirty around the bottom, but this could clean off nicely with a bit of time. The moves through the roof were awesome! Felt the grade was about 5.10c.

5.10b (unkown) - with Ryan Parker Sport 7m, 2 Red Rock: Pet Wall Good Sat 26th Sep 2020
A little dirty and mossy towards the top, but still worth doing. Could be better with more traffic and cleaning.

5.10c 5.10b My Beautiful Brittany - with Rachael Sport 10m, 7 Squamish Good Thu 13th May 2021
Great feet, terrible hands, so a pretty ideal slab climb, but felt harder than 5.10b.

5.10b 5.10 Marco Polo - with D-Lit Sport 15m, 7 Paroi Elephant Average Fri 14th Aug 2020
A bit of a one move wonder. We did a slight variation of the start (because there was a boat in the way of the start) by starting at 'Jouer avec le Feu', clipping the first bolt, then traversing left and clipping the second bolt of 'Marco Polo' with an extended draw to reduce rope drag and continuing up the rest of the route.

5.10b 5.10- 3 Unnamed - with D-Lit Sport 42m, 10 East Kootenays Good Sun 5th Jul 2020
This is listed as a 5.9+ in an old guidebook, but it seems as if there has been some recent(ish) rockfall at the roof which may have made it harder (at least 5.10b, maybe 5.10c, but it was also the end of a long day). Great climbing above the roof, did it as one long pitch then belayed the 2nd from the top.

5.10a Anglepussy - with D-Lit Sport 45m East Kootenays Very Good Sun 5th Jul 2020
Awesome line, but there is still a bit of loose rock, especially near the top.

A few tricky bouldery moves right off the start then some awkward crack on the second pitch made for a difficult start to this one. But it mellows out a bit and gets into some really cool moves on some of the traverse pitches higher up. We bailed after pitch 7 to take the easier rappel back down since it was getting late in the day.
