A must do climb cool steep moves!

constantly difficult... I screwed up OS at the 3rd or 4th bolt

slipped in the last moves... on the second try no problem

Got to second bolt through roof on the first go which was better than a few years ago, but then had to rest on every draw as the slopey headwall just sucks out any remaining strength. Tried to refine sequences second go, then had to clean it as sun arrived, shortly followed by rain. Not sure I will get another go in remaining 3 days here

If it hadn't been our last morning and I wasn't exhausted this may have happened. Nearly there on my second attempt. Jamming gloves rule.

Stuck the first boulder sequence but lobbed off the intermediate crimp in the block sequence.

Was surprised to find myself lobbing off this little pump fest. It is aptly named and you can find yourself getting crossed up at the little roof if not careful. Slabby face climbing takes you to a decent ledge to clip the second bolt. From there it appears most trend right then up into the roof and onto the final crux sequence.

I did find some small crimps with traces of chalk on them that flow straight up from the second bolt. These moves are harder and require more commitment but are quite satisfying. They also double as feet if you follow the more chalked sequence.

Slipped off a smear going through the gaston flake section. Forgot how pumpy this thing can be if you don't know the sequence.

Made it through the first powerful move but lost sight of the sequence and missed a much needed slot. Rest of the route went well enough.

Fluffed the first tricky sequence but made it through the power throws at the end.

Fluffed sequence clipping third bolt, got off route, tore off a piece of choss, and took a good fall. Watch out for that tree.

One fall. Arms were just too pumped. It'll go next trip.

Cleaned the crux cracks out with nut tool, but will still need some wire brushing. Hope someone gets to enjoy my elbow grease on their ascent in future. Placed a #0.5, #2 and a #7 red offset nut. Felt stout for the grade.

Went up this to clean it today and fell after bolt 2. And then clipped draws and rested each time. Much tired! And also figured out a new sequence going right instead of left for part of it. Fun!

Three roofs stacked up! Loads of holds and good rests. The perfect route?

Lots of power and endurance required. Finally got the full sequence now just needs a red point. Feels much harder than Ganesha.

Found a new way to pinch the pinch. Hopefully this goes next time.

Had to take a breather before the crux, just a bit too pumpy and sustained for a warm, esp ahead of a long day! Didn’t fancy pinging off the crux either, that wouldn’t be a good outcome! Second pitch much easier. That first pitch felt harder than some 11a’s, not kidding.
