Not bad

Convoluted approach, especially if you fail to follow the instructions. Very enjoyable climbing though, and a great view from the ledge at the top of pitch 2.

Qualified onsight: tried it in the morning, but bailed from the second bolt as it was wet. Came back in the afternoon and sent it when dry.

Nervy start, then a delicate mantle, then a tricky, pumpy crux. Might even be worth another star, though it would be better if the birds could find somewhere else to crap.

Decent, but very short.

Great, long, varied route with some committing thin moves, but well bolted overall. Recommended. Must be more than 10 bolts, because I ran out of draws.

Looks fantastic and climbs really well. Getting over the roof requires some commitment.

Warm up

Nice new climb with some interesting moves and well placed bolts. Maybe easy for the grade.

Really enjoyed this, though getting the first bolt clipped is nervy work. It's 20 in the blue book, and I thought that grade was fair, so I'm not sure why it's 21 here.

First half is good, then you just wander to the top it seems. Very run out past the 3rd bolt, which is rusty and needs replacing.

Good fun. If this were at ground level, there'd be chalk all over it.

Balancy, enjoyable climbing. Worth a look.

Pitch 1 is plenty run out after the 4th bolt, so take some small/medium cams. On the 2nd pitch I didn't see the bolts on the arete, so climbed the corner crack to the left, which didn't seem like a soft option at the time.

Worth doing if you're here for Sundance.

Very good, technical climb with ok stances for placing gear. I found the rockover/mantle at the end of the crack pretty scary.

Good nut placements, but the flake sounds real hollow at the top, so I wouldn't want to fall on them. Nice line though.

This is the main reason you would come here, juggy and a little exhilarating, but over very quickly.

Not too hard, well protected. Useful as a warm up.

Long runout to the 2nd bolt, better after that. Maybe there are trad placements, but I didn't have any gear so I wasn't looking. Not recommended.

Not bad. Cruisy bottom section, then it gets pumpy, but there's no shortage of jugs.

Cures your hangover, guaranteed. Classy, consistent climbing with protection opportunities everywhere. Nearly as good as Sundance Crack in my opinion.

Highlight of the trip for me. Beautiful rock, good gear, couple of spicy runouts, classic finish through the overhang. This is about my trad limit at the moment.

Rubbish bolting, climbs ok.

A great outing. Pleasant couple of raps to get going, then some memorable climbing to get out. Go in the late afternoon and watch the sun lighting up the walls across the valley. Beautiful.

I think this is what we did, but there were 3 bolts. Wouldn't have enjoyed the topout if the 3rd bolt weren't there. Spidery.

The roof is cool, but it hardly makes it a classic.
