Fun route - cool roofs and a fairly helpful kneebar. Was basically an onsight but I messed around on the starting moves so logging as redpoint.

Dropped it after the traverse, tried to do it after doing afternoon delight reverse and Kung Fu flavour

First time doing it without any matching

I found it harder/more beta intensive than the original traverse, but I'm not sure that warrants a 7A+ It's a good route and probably great training if you want to climb dream catcher

Great face climbing on slab, crimpy. Short but powerful.

Could not figure out how to get to the second bolt. Do you go far right along the crack then back left at the height of the second bolt?

Crouch start

A Cape Town classic. I still think it's a bit soft compared to other 21s (this was my first 21 and flashed it soon after I started climbing).

Took a fall at the crux, I think it's a brilliant crux. Always thought it was a bit skewed towards tall people, but today I finally found beta at the correct grade that made the reach up quite easy. Spoilers: Trick is to get your foot high on the left and go up using the rail as an underling. Very satisfying finally figuring this new beta out!

Such a cool route.....The beta that worked for me was left heel and go for the jug with the left hand. For the Upper crux I used the low left heel through all the crimps. Went down first time I stuck the jug in the roof.

Really fun climb. Rate it highly.

Hung at the first piece of gear, moving out of the initial rail is the hardest move on the route. Pulled through on a cam. From there it's fairly steady at 20, very nice climbing. I freed from that point, although built an anchor 25m up to haul more big gear. Improved the rap anchors with new Mallions and a nut backing up a wobbly bolt.

Pretty underrated 18 in my opinion. Super secure clipping positions with lots to hold onto.

The first pitch is delicate and balancy. First two pieces where pre placed so somewhat of a pink point but the crux is def the move to the leg and past.
