Relatively easy climbing but run-out. Great on balance granite climbing. I had climbed pitch 2 before on 2nd, but because I lead it in almost darkness, I will claim the on-sight/solo.

P1 is really awesome lay backing with good gear, super high quality. P2 is the scary bit, well done Kevin on the lead you are the MAN! The most run-out route I have done on granite to date. One of my favourites too!

I thought the climbing felt familiar, I've done it before. The last pitch is very run-out. Good for the mind. Nice to take the girls out. Last time Kevin lead the serious pitch.

Trad Finally! Agter os kom ook in die kraal. Fell after the crux 5 times. So much fun though. Really one of the best routes and def most memorable send to date.

Trad Managed to screw up the 1st redpoint attampt and take the scary fall. Got it on the next go. Might be only 7b. Started on the arête and not on the Squid, as it seemed more logical. Very cool route!

P2 is pretty spectacular, forgot how gnarly trad is. P3 is truly classic, prob the best pitch of 16 that I have climbed to date, so many gear placements, esp nuts. I had really bad rope drag thoug, also not 16, feels more14/15; we did in dark with head torches.

Route as per 'The Ledge' All pitches are amazing including the last '17' pitch, Gets the blood pumping. Most of the pitches offer a lot of exposure. Highly recommended.

I need more micro cams, without them I felt sketchy, else I am just plain crap at finding gear placements. Great single pitch route though, the most awesome hand jam pocket.

Great climb for beginners introduction to granite! Loads of gear placements, could quite easily climb whole route with one set of nuts and a single half rope. Take about 14 extenders. Our ascent was made interesting due to the fact that I used one approach shoe the other a climbing shoe.

Let the other boys have a go at leading. Neil did nicely. I did the 13 pitch. Gear is good on all pitches Nice climbing with a fantastic view-a different perspective of Cape Town. Was also fun to top-out before the sun set

Probably the best route on Lion's Head that goes straight to the top. P1 is amazing and P2 is one of the best at the grade. I would say P3 should be bumped to grade 16.

First and fourth pitch were really nice, the middle two pitches were easy and green. Had problems to figure one move at the jamming section, it´s a bit slippery jam, but fun!
