Ascents in Solothurner Jura

Nice route with a bit of an alpine feeling. A bit exposed, some crumbly bits and some polish but all in all it's a very interesting route with some tough parts.

While I managed to on-sight the short 6c part, I failed to do so in the two upper 6b pitches (we decided for the right-side variant). In the lower 6b I was victim to a foothold that broke off and in the last one, I miraculously could climb through the delicate first part of the pitch, grab the "thank-god-jug" and then let my foot slip in a very clumsy maneuver...

Difficult moves were exceptionally well protected and can be aided by grabbing quickdraws.

First pitch used to be rated as 5b+ - the "modern" 6a+ rating is more adequate since it really felt a bit harder than pitch 3.

We used the anchor in the last pitch to split it in two.

Mehrseillänge mit wunderschönem Panoramaausblick auf die Schweizer Alpen und das Mittelland.

Two failed attempts on alternative 6a (mental breakdown) and 6b (crow attack) pitches. Lost one quickdraw, some ego and 7h on the wall. Definitely a classic route!!

Seillänge von Mauerläufer, dann auf Normalroute weiter. 5b+ sehr dprckig und nicht schön. 5a wenig Haken. 4a gar keine Haken

Sehr Speckig, viel gelaufe ohne richtige sicherung.

Wär glaub ich meine erste 7b Onsight, hat sich aber eher wie 6c angefühlt. An Rissen und Henkeln klettert man bis zur Schlüsselstelle ca. 6b. Dort dann kurz an einem Sloper links schultern, etwas reinlegen und die Füsse nach rechts raus hoch stellen. Dann in den nächsten Henkel reinkippen / kreuzen und dann zwar leicht überhängend aber an sehr guten Griffen noch drei vier Züge zum Stand.
