Ascents in The Furnace having Beta

Finally got it. Awesome climb.

Hard for me

First multi-pitch and everything was great. Only two pitches and the 2nd pitch traverses left as much as it ascends. Second pitch seemed a little stiffer than 4, but that may be due to some tree growth blocking some of the easy terrain. One could potentially do The Easy Bake Oven as a first pitch instead.

Hard and technical crux.........really weird for me.

Fell off again. I 'll go back and get it next time.

Longer route with anchor on the right. Found the upper section to be a little sustained because the wet rock left not too much rest stops. Rock was a bit sharp on some parts but good holds were everywhere.

Nice face climb with easy end

Hardest climb yet on top rope. Fell about 6 times!

Two clips before the anchor I had to hold on to the rope to clip

Some hole got wet after the rain.

Put the draws on for K....I was on a rest day!

Route began on the far right on a boulder with deep juggy holds everywhere. There was a section with a deep depression that required a high step and my left knee kept on getting stuck as I extended my leg. Ian found it easy to get through this section as he is shorter! Damn my height!

Good, but hard to access. Rarely climbed.

5b+ in the new guide. 11 bolts, not 9 as the guide says (and many of them unnecessary!). Fun, cruisy route despite the grid-bolting

Pretty average scramble. Wouldn't recommend.

Both routes had anchors that were on the right so we had to watch the ropes when pulling them down to prevent entanglement on the tree. The route was still damp from the previous day's rain so was a little trickier that it should have been
