Routes as sport in Midlands

This pitch offers a bouldery style of climbing, characterised by challenging moves and requiring strong finger strength.

This is a bolted line situated to the left of Saul's crack, featuring cemented-up breaks. Despite the altered nature of the breaks, the route still offers enjoyable and engaging moves.

This route follows the central crack-line and is highly regarded for its quality. The upper half of the climb poses a considerable challenge.

When free of debris, this route is worth pursuing. It follows the line of bolts beyond the old high peg and offers a less challenging climb compared to Little Weed.

Enjoy the satisfying movements found between the breaks located just to the right of the thin crack of Little Weed.

Ascend the right-hand side of the arête, which has been up-graded due to the loss of some holds.

This pitch offers a fulfilling experience with distinct halves that contrast each other.

Begin with a rockover, followed by a series of steep and grip-rich movements that lead to the intricate and consistently challenging mid-section.

A few additional moves, slightly spaced apart, add a touch of excitement before reaching a brief but steep finale and the designated lower-off point.

Start as for Walker's Walk and finish directly for the overhang. Please note there is only a single bolt available for the lower off point.

Ascend the route left of Slobberlob. This section features an overhang up to the first clip and a challenging manoeuvrer to pull onto a ledge for the second clip. From there, veer right to access more favourable holds leading to the next clip and ultimately reaching the top.

Ascend the face situated immediately to the right of the arete while executing a challenging manoeuvre to surpass the initial low bolt.

Beyond this point, a stretch of inferior rock swiftly gives way, paving the path for exceptional climbing on exquisite brown rock.

F6b+ Follow Past Your Eyes to the 4th bolt, then move up and right for a long way on steep but easy ground to a bolt at the base of a clean grey wall. Climb this, then pass a seriously unstable section to an overhang. Pull over the overhang into the superbly positioned but easier finishing groove. Lower off.

The row of bolts situated immediately to the right of Coming of Age. Greasy holds at the crux.

The large expanse of wall to the left of Nomad Wall sports one enormous sports route Southern Mountains 6a *. The routes is 50m in length with two lower-offs. 17 clips.

Adjacent to the cave, continue by following the line of bolts that traverses towards the left and ascends along the edge of the cave's lip.

This route presents a challenging beginning located to the left of the tunnel, followed by a section with ample jugs leading over the tunnel. Exercise caution regarding the presence of barbed wire directly beneath the lower off point.

Ascend directly from the point where Dream of White Horses, Not veers left.

Scale the wall situated to the left of the cave. The bolts may occasionally be absent or unavailable.
