Lots of snow swimming upto and including pitch one. Ice was pukka after that though. Thought there would be a lot more rock pro than there was so we only took 2 screws. This lead to some exciting runnouts. Especially when I accidentally tried to to link pitch 3 and 4 and ran out of rope 5m before the p4 belay. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable route!

Superb route. Not at all hard, except for a few vertical sections in the middle. We had excellent ice and with next to no snow had a great time. Highly recommended route.

Absolutely bloody fantastic route! Long, direct, good pro, bomber belays, great rock, beautiful setting. Approach with a mountain bike to cut down the 1.5hr walk in and be inventive at the last belay!! Only bother with a full rack of wires and some slings if you're a competent leader. A great 6 pitch route on a beautiful alpine wall

Same as Taxus, but continue up the obvious line, trending right. Weird ice on our ascent with scary verglassed snow flutings, no pro except for at belays. Found good neve in slabby areas and top out was on beautiful hard neve.
