Heh.... there's a long story associated with this climb that I'll have to save for my wilderness journal. Let's sum it all up with - the description on rockclimbing.com is better than that in either guidebook. Bring extra 3" protection. That aside, excellent, excellent climb. This was my first crack climb. For me, the crux was when I finally had to actually trust nothing but hand and foot jams for the first time. But yeah, they don't call it a classic for nothin'.
