Had some fun contriving a route up the rock overhang at the start second go.

TR twice Favorite one. First time fell trying to mix it up. Second Time really mixed it up!

With Scott and Vince - very sick route. I led P3, very steep with some chimney action and conditions depndent ice flows. It was wet and didn't take screws well but we got 'er done. P4 was Scott's and had a crazy overhanging move out of a protected cave to the top. I like this more than DNF

in WI3-4 condition, three laps on TR.

First lap right variant WI ~4/5m second via back of broken pilar, thruching little squeeze move, got on second attempt, pumped silly.

Wet conditions and the 2nd pitch was just a window to the running water. Still a great day out on ice

In a day from Molas Pass for my 27th birthday. 20.4 miles round trip, over 10,000' elevation gain, summits and laughs and pain. Almost died on the downclimb down a snowfield after summitting, Vince was white. Sub 13 hours car-to-car and ended with beer and cupcakes. Magical day with Vestal, my favorite peak.

P1 is so sick, the rest is good just not quite as good. Watch snow conditions for the bowl above the route, lots of avy hazard there.

Fuck yes! Life list climb with Vince Mazzuca, first pitch was in and not so thin. P2 was unique ice runnel climbing. P3 was a GD marathon and calf burner with multiple spindrift avalanches coming off the top slopes. So glad to have had good conditions for this one to go down.

Rotten as, but you can find the solid rock. Alpine cold even in summer.

I've done this thing a handful of times, always smiling! Steep 5th pitch.

Bailed after P2 due to poor snow conditions above
