Nice roof move earns the grade.

Runout on easy terrain after the 3rd bolt if you don't bring a small cam.

Loved the technical crimps at the bottom. Had more trouble with the campus and layback sections with bad feet. Looking forward to trying it again.

Interesting climbing to the first bolt followed by some nice face climbing to a powerful boulder move on sharp crimps guarding the chains. Looking forward to trying this with fresh skin.

Glad to tick this one finally. Holds didn't feel so small this go around.

We did the 5.10a version which follows a more direct path up the mini dihedral forcing you to stay right of the first 2 bolts. This bottom section required a little more finesse on smaller holds but quickly gave way to fun 5.9 juggy climbing after the second bolt.

Been over a year since I last attempted it and oh did it show. Managed the first 4 bolts with ease but couldn't remember the beta from 4th to 5th nor the 5th bolt clipping beta. The bottom bolder also felt remarkably harder, makes me wonder if some holds flakes off.

Sequence intensive face climbing on positive holds. Only 3 bolts on 40' of climbing with potential ledge falls makes for some spicey moves down low. Be careful on the move to the second bolt. Third bolt is where the route earns its name. Tricky onsight.

Learning the sequence and hanging the draws made this burn much easier. Blew right through it.

First outdoor climb ever!

Fell again after the 5th bolt. The sharpness of the holds makes the condition of your skin a relevant factor. The Butcher will make you bleed.

Pumpy and fun. Tricky sequence at the bottom.

Great long move to side pull. Fun warm-up.

Love using this route as a warm up for your fingers.

One fall after the 5th bolt. Split my tips but it was worth it.
