Ascents in Jackson Falls having Beta

I did fair on this on but still difficult

Setup toprope on second climb

Fell off start of route about 6 feet up. Oh well Enjoyed climb. Anchor chains are not lined up properly and put a twist in rope after pulling rope when we were done climbing

Has bolted anchor

Thin middle. Sandy top.

Hard opener, then fingery.

Dumb to have to carry a couple pieces of gear on a sport route, just bolt the fucking thing.

I don't know anyone else who has done this route. I've been on it multiple times and would easily call it something harder than the grade of 12b, which at times almost feels cruel.

Every time I try this climb... I expect it to be better than the time before. It's a little bit of a disappointment.

Good climb using the arête as a layback... Great fun with the crux at the first few moves. Then it's smooth sailing there on up.

The first clip was pretty sketchy, but the rest of the climb was consistent and fun. Don't forget to use that arete...

The moves to the first clip was the crux for me. The foot placement on the initial pullback was difficult because of a slick spot.

Nice warm-up route

All I can remember about this route is the awkward hand and foot placement before the first clip.

Spit off of crux on onsight attempt. (3 bolts clipped)

Whoa!! Backed off after the second bolt!! Brutal!

REALLY a pain to clean. Otherwise it would be a five star route!

one hang entering crux at top. next time....

Pity it's mixed otherwise this would probably get a ton of traffic - really nice moves.

Watchout for the squirrel's nest at the shelf halfway up!!!

Nice juggy holds and reaches in between. a few flowy sidepulls to generous underclings get you to the chains. Classic.

short one move wonder with a bomb kneebar right before the cruxy reach for the top. Great tick for the effort

Kate's first outdoor lead and, subsequently, her first outdoor onsite. Apropos...

Onsighted this in the rain, and have climbed it several times since. Great slabby route!

Good Learner for Lead

Finished out the top section for paul, still a really freaking hard route.

Pretty cool, had to climb through nest of bugs, parts of crack were wet, mossy wetness up top was less than stellar. Only trad lead of the day, pretty much made my day.

Led this on Paul's pre-placed gear, placed a few of my own in rest places for fun. Good climb, nice jackson trad.

Toe slipped off of a ledge sooo close to the anchors. Oh well, awesome trip, good climb. Slabby section up top is way harder than bottom.

Popped something on it the first time I did it, still hurting 3 weeks later...

Awesome climb, beta on the overhang from Paul. Definately a great climb.

Hardest climb that I've ever gotten on. I fell up the damn thing, but somebody had to get paul's draws back!
