Yaay! Such a great climb! So puuuuumpy!!!!

Last climb of the day. Started raining… but kept going. Fricken epic!!! So good. So long! So on!!!

Hell yeah! Glad I worked out a better finish beta so I had plenty of gas to clip the anchor. Mega pump set in as I lowered off… and screaming fingertips from the cold.

Surprisingly good friction for what looked like wet rock. Good to put this one away. Fingers even worked today!

Finally! Warmed up bolt to bolt to get the draws on and give it a brush. Second shot got it. Fingers still did the open up thingy but I just pushed through and somehow stayed on. I yelled so much I’m pretty sure I chipped a tooth! How does that even happen???

Bit spoogy and cold now after the rain. Really good climbing… it just keeps going!!

7a+ on ukc and climb ermionida guide. Definitely a step up from Hades.

Much harder than savage girl. Really good but you have to work for it.

It feels like lichen powder residue on all the holds. Weird lack of friction today. Oh well, it’s all training right?

And then I did everything perfectly!!!!! So many tiny body positions that make all the difference! Managed to use my foot to take all the weight off my now slightly less crappy right hand. Holy crap!!! I think I might be a climber again!!!

Woohoo! Nearly lost it on my previous high point but this time I wasn’t tired. Went pretty well!

Delicate and balancey but scary at the crux, mainly as that section of rock is crumbly and feels like it’s all going to break off. Well bolted. Guessing at the grade but similar feel to Pick and Roll… with the added bonus of ‘will the rock break off in my hand/foot??’.

Crap... I was really trying a tr as there were a couple of clips I was worried about (and rocks coming off). I ended up having to go past them... didn’t expect to get it clean, however It’s the clips that are hard

Really did not expect that! Feeling as crap as I did, I really had to focus on my breathing to push the anxiety away. But it felt pretty good. Nearly stuffed up the ending but down climbed and sorted myself out. Throat was sore by the end so I must have yelled at some stage but otherwise, it went pretty easily. Finally!!!!

I know I shouldn’t be on something like this with my back but the conditions are so good right now, I just wanted to see what it would feel like. So much friction!!! I still came off at the usual two moves but the rest were so good. X4. Last lap, the finger flared up so I cleaned it.

Heartbreaker finish for the slightly shorter. Ruined the onsight thinking I could dyno. I’m much better at monos…

Really good but slightly petrifying. Also…. I feel like I may have been glutened. Immune system is feeling shaky.

X5. Tweaking some moves. Feeling a bit unfit and weak but I’ve still got a few weeks up my sleeve.

Not sure why I top roped. Was feeling a bit nervous for some reason. After dogging it up on lead I did 3 more laps, 2 of them back to back, all of them clean. Only on the last lap did it occur to me that yes… I’m an idiot… you could have led this in your sleep. And now I’ve blown the chance of sending this. At least it was stress free. (In hindsight, I’d been glutened and immune system was slowly crashing. Spent the last week in Leo sick. Maybe next time…)

A lot steeper than it looks. Probably better to just lead it but wanted to see if it was worthwhile coming back for. Still not sure…

Hard crux

Weather said 18 and sunny. It wasn’t. My fingertips were numb halfway. Interesting climb though.
