Ascents in World by rickau having sport-cpr or ascent-date

Had an interesting time abseiling in, used a fixed 70m to avoid multiple raps. Not sure if this is good beta though as we managed to core shot the rope 💀

Second pitch is the money! Keen to get back to the wall and try some of the other routes.

We got on this thinking it was the iron throne. First pitch is a pile of choss featuring a nice fridge sized death block ready to pop out. 2nd and 3rd pitch are quality though on great rock. We bailed before the final pitch, was able to get to the belay for pitch 2 rapping on double 60s from the top of pitch 3.

Another pierces classic! It always feels good smearing on sandstone after a week of climbing polished tonsai limestone.

Really good climbing amongst 100 camera lenses. Get that pro climber experience at only grade 22.

Great climbing on every pitch. Most of this climb is on steep jugs however, there's a touch a slab to keep you on your toes. Pitch 4 is very engaging and does not feel like you're typical bolted route.

This area has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to what future development brings.

Best rock in Railay.

This climb stays mostly dry during torrential rain, although you may get a little wet on the top mantle.

Quality climbing! Gear for days in the top bit however not really necessary.

Great to finally climb on the most ambivalent city crag.

Scary traverse climbs better than it looks!

Nice morning jaunt after a big Saturday. Surprised to get the onsight on the first pitch (warm up on something before you jump on). Second pitch has some cool sequences up nice rock followed by familiar sweet dreams iron stone. Third pitch is very sustained, feels like a really long and slightly overhung gym climb.

Easy approach, good climbing on every pitch. First pitch is a tough 50m sustained warm up especially when you don't extend any draws. Shade until 1.30pm

Second go.

Unfortunately blew the first move due to the first footer collapsing, everything else above an onsight.

This climb ticks all the boxes, I’d rate it as 3 stars (other than the shit first move). Delicate slab down low finished off with a head wall with pockets and jugs placed perfectly! Almost feels like you’re climbing on limestone.

Finally ticked this one after 3 attempts today. Tim’s letterbox dyno beta worked a treat and felt a lot better than the sketchy crimp/crap feet sequence.

Warning! The guidebook and crag description is incorrect! Only the crux bolt has been replaced with titanium. The remaining bolts are SS!

Almost fell off at the top, awkward sequence. I went right which was a mistake

First pitch only warm up.

Be very careful climbing in this area especially if the swell is up. We got plummeted by a 7 metre wall of water which knocked myself from my belay position and Mat off the wall while we were climbing heart and soul. Take extra rope and gear to build a safety line for when you are at the base of the cliff. Familiarise yourself with the scramble exit in case you need to get out quick.

An extra bolt has appeared towards the top making the crux a bit less exciting.
