Ascents in World by Ikey having trad-cpr or ascent-date

There were 5 red cams in the crack when I got to the top (I only clipped 3). Figured there wasn't enough fixed gear so I punched an overcammed in near the top, couldn't adjust it on the lead and didn't clip it. (Miranda easily got it out). Good little climb, wish it was a bit longer.

The stuck cam there is really annoying. It's in a good handhold and its properly fucked. I was like yeah it's not going anywhere until I looked at it. Definitely do not clip it. One of the lobes is completely destroyed, has been cut in half. Didn't have a crack at getting it out, I figured better minds than me have tried. I think it's probably worth cutting the sling, I might bring a knife next time I head to the gorge.

Got up early so was sitting at the trailhead in the dark for like 10min which was so godamnn zen. Nice morning climb. Gus lead it, looked like a demigod in the golden sun. First pitch was pretty cool, one kinda hard layback move, probably would have been too scared to lead it. Second pitch was just a jug run, probably not worth the effort tbh.

I have no idea how hard I climb and after doing this I am even more confused. I'm pretty happy to have ticked it off but honestly it went down very easily this time, there wasn't really any point where I thought I might fall. Time to try a harder crack I guess. It's really a shame about the end of it, wish the crack was longer.

Great climb, made up for the approach (see my earlier post). Great slabby moves up the crack and face. Gear is 'there' but somewhat fiddly and not super amazing. I protected the crux with 2x small RPs in a sliding x (one of which fell out) and a no 1 nut. Wouldn't want to whip but maybe would? Belayed off the bolts and were back at the car within 30min (10 of which including getting lost at the top). Moderately thought-provoking but I was a fan.

Unintentionally only used passive gear. Actually worse protection that I was expecting, like fine but wouldn't want it to be your grade limit.

wussed out of doing hornpiece because i placed all my small cams down low and didnt bring enough draws for the top.

fell on the slab on the onsight but gear held so im happy. best anchor in the world

Possibly the worst I've ever climbed. Spent about 10 min trying to orientate ourselves at the bottom of the wall. I went up the face which I'm not sure whether it was actually a climb. Got pretty scared cause I didn't find a lot of gear. Definitely spent like an hour in the no fall zone. Wore my good (sport) shoes which were a double edged sword. I think I needed them to feel comfy on the slab but also meant that at the end my toes felt like they were gonna fall off. I don't know how hard it was going up the face as I was scared and there wasnt much gear. If I was to guess I'd say like 13-14? I was climbing bad cause of the fear of God. Serious type II fun.

Did the second pitch as a short one (5-10m) because lucy's stance in my shitty hanging belay was pretty bad (100% my fault I should've kept climbing for a little bit.) Trucked up on the jugs to gods ledge, placing gear if I remembered.
