Tidied up the first pitch.

What a brilliant day out. Stunning weather, great climbing and well protected. I lead 1st and 3rd. Dan 2nd and 4th. Quality slab climbing in an amazing location. Approach notes: After heading left and down at the boulders, walk along under the Suzuki Complex until you reach a sloping polished slab. Push through some shrubs to drop down a little onto the next ledge. Cairn here. Walk south for 10m or so before pushing down through some more shrubs. Left for 5m to a fixed rope around a rock.

Fun. Solid rock. Fu’s first outdoors lead on the first and second.

Great fun the whole way. Awesome climb for the first day of summer. Lead first and third. First onsight at the grade.

Beautiful weather. Great climb. Heaps of bolts. Nice exposure on the 2nd pitch

We were running short on time so rapped across to the start of the second pitch from the Peregrine first pitch anchor. The intention was for me to lead, but I wasn’t comfortable with the moves up to the second bolt directly above the belayer, so Martin took over. Pretty sustained and technical moves for the grade, but great climb.

Good fun to climb from near the water level with consistent slabbing.

Done as three pitches as part of our AGL skills course. Last pitch had some nice slab climbing. Lead first and third.

Reachy slab then sustained pumpiness on the second pitch.

Onsight on the first pitch. Second pitch is awesome. Hard crux!

Another excellently route. Good length, sustained, steep and exposed. Maybe on the hard side for 18, at least the way I did the crux. Ended up maybe going a bit high before the traverse.

Pity about the ledges, but each section of this climb is awesome and provides varied challenges. The top section is especially good.

Great route. The finish is super exciting.

Really like this route. Quite Frog like movement. Loose block is now gone. One of the anchor bolt nuts is loose and a few spinning hangers along the way.

Wow! A steep, quality low grade climb in Southern Tas! Good stuff. A sting in the tail though.

Really enjoyable! A mix of crack and juggy, but balancy, moves flow really well.

That final move is still pretty out there.

Great climb with a variety of styles. Keeps you thinking all the way.

Lead both. Some nice movement on the face then a arete to finish. Better than it looks from Unwin. Not too much crap rock left. Lots of spinning hangers and at least one loose nut.

Prob my favourite 18 at the River so far. Clean this time.

Take care with some flexible holds on the slab. Bit of everything on this. Really good. Maybe tricky for an 18.
